Nordic Games Announce They Have Purchased The IPS Of Desperdos And Silver From Atari

Nordic Games have announced they now own the IP's Desperados and Silver, they were previously owned by Atari. Nordic Games is asking the gaming community the direction they think these new titles should be going in.

About Desperados:
Desperados are stealth-based real-time tactics computer games, developed by Spellbound and released in 2001 and 2006, respectively. In these games (Desperados – Wanted Dead or Alive; Desperados 2 – Cooper´s Revenge), the player controls various characters in a Wild West setting. The protagonist is a knife fighter and gunslinger, John Cooper. As Cooper sets off on his different quests, he is aided by some of his trustworthy companions.

About Silver:
Silver, released in 1999, is an Action RPG for Microsoft Windows, Dreamcast and Macintosh OS. The game was produced by Infogrames initially for Windows, and later on the Dreamcast. The story focuses around a young warrior called David and his quest to retrieve his wife from the clutches of the villain Silver. On his journey he gains a number of followers and visits many different landscapes.

Nordic Games have announced ArcaniA The Complete Tale for PS3 and Xbox 360. coming 31st May for PS3 and later this summer on Xbox 360 for £24.99, ArcaniA The Complete Tale has ArcaniA Gothic 4 and the Fall Of Setariff Expansion that provides an additional 10 hours of gameplay. ArcaniA is a fantasy action RPG that invites players to explore the world. the gameplay and world are affected by the weather. the game is set in a civil unrest and centered on a mysterious ancient tower, which you'll find the source of its power.

Nordic Games Announce They Are A Successful THQ IP Bidder, More Than 150 SKUs For $4.9 Million


Nordic Games have revealed they are a successful bidder of THQ IP. they spent $4.9 Million on 150 SKU's worth of IP. this doesn't mean they own the rights to 150 games, it means they will own the rights to several game IP's and the platform versions they have been released on which add up to 150 versions. Nordic Games have not released the full list of games they have obtained, but have revealed it includes:

  • Titan Quest
  • Darksiders
  • Red Faction
  • MX vs. ATV
  • Frontlines
  • Juiced
  • Stuntmant
  • Destroy All Humans
  • Deadly Creatures
  • The Outfit
  • Summoner

Nordic Games and The Farm 51 have announced Deadfall: Adventures. coming this July to PC and Xbox 360, Deadfall Adventures is a Unreal Engine 3 game that has you playing as James Lee Quatermain. you are tasked with taking Jennifer Goodwin to an Egyptian temple complex to retrieve The Heart Of Atlantis...however the Nazi Occult division is also looking for it. as well as Egypt, the game has you visiting the Arctic and Guatemala.

Nordic Games Announce Painkiller: Hell And Damnation Is Coming To PS3 And Xbox 360 On 5th April In The UK

Nordic Games have announced they are bringing Painkiller: Hell And Damnation to PS3 and Xbox 360. the game was originally released on PC back in October 2012 and will now come out on 5th April. the game will come in a standard edition that will cost £24.99 or a Collectors Edition that will cost £34.99. The Game was developed by The Farm 51 and features a single player mode, co-op and several multiplayer Modes. This features trailer was for the PC release of the game, but should be fine to show the Console stuff.

Nordic Games Detail The Alan Wake Standard And Collectors Editions For PC, £29.99 And £34.99 Respectively



Nordic Games have detailed the Alan Wake standard and collectors edition for PC. the top picture shows the standard and the bottom shows collectors. both versions come with the game, including DLC, as well as the games' soundtrack on a second disc. there are also 6 post cards, the manual, 7 stickers and a double sided poster. the collectors edition will also come with commentary and a bonus DVD full of additional content, trailers, and behind the scenes. The standard edition has a suggested retail price of £29.99, whilst the collectors is £34.99.

Nordic Games Announce We Dance For The Nintendo Wii Comes Out 4th May


Nordic Games have announced We Dance, an new game in the "We" Brand. Wii Dance will have 3 different play styles, Wii Remote, Nordic Games' own Star Mat, or both. We Dance comes out in May and will come with 40 licensed tracks spanning 4 decades. confirmation of the track list will be made later. the majority of tracks come their original videos. All the dances in the game have been choreographed by professional dancers.

Thursday 31st March 2011: Nordic Games Publishing, the company behind the successful We Sing range of Wii games, has announced the first extension to its ‘We’ brand with the introduction of We Dance, a new dancing game exclusive to Wii.

Unlike other dancing games, We Dance utilises three different styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using Nordic Games’ dance mat (the ‘Star Mat’), or distinctively a combination of both – each offering varying levels of difficulty.

“The market is primed for the release of We Dance, and it sits perfectly alongside our family of We Sing games,” said Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. “We Dance is a great party and family gaming experience, accessible to people of all ages and abilities.”

We Dance will launch in May with 40 licensed tracks spanning four decades of music; from rock to pop, rap to disco and hip hop to drum ‘n’ bass, there is something for everyone. The majority of tracks include the original videos to further add to the experience.

For authenticity, all dance steps have been fully choreographed by professional dancers helping make We Dance a more rewarding and energetic experience.
“Nordic Games is fast becoming the home of music entertainment on the Wii, and this is a significant extension to our range,” added Blower.

We Dance is also sponsoring the games industry’s annual awards ceremony, the MCV Awards on 7th April at The Brewery in London.

We Dance will be available to buy with one or two’ Star Mats’, or as a solus game. As with We Sing games, We Dance was developed by Le Cortex alongside Wired Productions.

Nordic Games Announce Shame, Featuring Gary Barlow And Robbie Williams, Is In We Sing Robbie Williams


Nordic Games have announced that there will be a bonus 26th track in We Sing Robbie Williams. the new track from Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow, Shame, will be included. Shame will be a bonus unlockable track earned by completing the other 25 Robbie Williams songs.

of 12th November firmly etched into the games release calendar, Nordic Games can reveal the 26th track to feature on We Sing Robbie Williams will be Shame, a duet featuring Gary Barlow.

Shame, which was released on Monday 4th October, is the first time Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow have featured on a track together in 15 years. Shame is also included on Robbie’s greatest hits compilation album In and Out of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010, which is out today (11th October).

“Shame is a great track and I’m really chuffed that this duet with Gary Barlow will feature on We Sing Robbie Williams,” says Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing Director. “The inclusion means We Sing Robbie Williams will include all the star’s greatest sing along hits. Robbie fans won’t be able to resist this one this Christmas.”

The game will also include footage from Robbie Williams’ 2003 Knebworth concert and a photo gallery. Other features include Solo, Party, Karaoke and Jukebox modes, singing lessons, in-game awards and eight different multiplayer modes.

When its just Robbie singing, the lyrics are below with scores on top. when there's a Duet, there are lyrics on both the top and bottom with scores in the middle.

Nordic Games and EMi Music have announced We Sing Robbie Williams for the Nintendo Wii. We Sing Robbie Williams features 25 tracks from Robbie Williams, each will be accompanied by the original music video. The release of this game will coincide with the Robbie Williams Greatest hits album called "Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010," in October 2010.

Thursday 22nd July 2010: For the first time ever Robbie Williams is set to star in his own singing video game, thanks to an agreement between Nordic Games and EMI Music, allowing fans around the world to celebrate 20 years of popular hits.

We Sing Robbie Williams will feature 25 tracks from the chart-topping artist, which will be accompanied by all the original videos making it a true celebration of the British born, multimillion selling pop star.

The release of the game will coincide with Robbie Williams’ definitive greatest hits album entitled In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010. Spanning 20 years, the album is testament to his incredible success as the UK’s biggest selling solo artist.

“After 20 years in the business, Robbie's fanbase covers practically every age group, and both genders – that represents a massive percentage of the population who will want to play the We Sing version of the game,” says Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing Director. “This is a huge deal for Nordic Games and a real first in the gaming world.”
