EA And Bioware Revealed The Cerberus Network. A In-Game Mass Effect 2 News Portal

EA And Bioware have revealed The Cerberus Network. This is a In-Game portal in Mass Effect 2 that keeps players up to date with Mass Effect 2, get information regarding DLC, and get Bonus Content. EA have also revealed that gamers who activate and access The Cerberus Network when the game is released will get the first DLC pack on January 26th.

The Cerberus Network will only be available to gamers who buy the game. A one time use code will be included in all versions of Mass Effect 2. gamers who do not buy the game new can make a in-game purchase to get access to The Cerberus network.

Nintendo Reveal Its UK Spring Line-up And Announce The Black Wii Will Stay on Sale.



Nintendo Have released the UK Spring Lineup for the Wii, DS, WiiWare, And DSiWare. Notable Wii game releases are Tatsunoko vs Capcom Coming out on 29th January, Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep coming out on 5th February, And Silent Hill Shattered Memories which comes out on 4th March.

Nintendo have also announced that the once Limited Edition Black Nintendo Wii will continue to be sold. The Black Nintendo Wii was only meant to be on sale until the end of 2009, but Nintendo have extended the consoles release due to "popular demand".

"We really enjoyed incorporating the contest winners' designs into finished levels and have been playing them non-stop," said Sukhbir Sidhu, Studio Director at PopCap and co-creator of Peggle and Peggle Nights. "These user-generated concepts turned out quite well in terms of playability and challenge, and it's really interesting and inspiring to see level design ideas from fans of the game!"
The new levels in the Art Contest level pack feature whimsical "mash-ups" of PopCap characters and imagery as well as re-imaginings of past levels. Grand prize winners Matt Ward of Heanor, Derbyshire England (in the adult category) and Michael and Stephanie Liu, youth category co-winners from Naperville, Illinois, visited PopCap's headquarters in August to play-test and provide feedback on the levels based on their designs.

The user-created levels, and their respective creators, are:

"Bucket Revisited" - Michael and Stephanie Liu (Grand Prize, Youth category) - a redrawing of the classic Das Bucket level with Peggle characters.
"Dynamic Two-Oh" - Matt Ward (Grand Prize, Adult category) - the Undercover Unicorn patrols the streets and rooftops of Pegopolis with his crime-busting partner, Kid Radical!
"Fun Dead" - Anthony Maddaloni - (Runner-up) - a combination of Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies results in a graveyard scare!
"Caykee" - Jessica Kozulbal - (Runner-up) - Caykee the Cupcake presents her argument for inanimate objects as Peggle Masters!
"Peggle 3D" - Brice Johnson (Runner-up) - What if Peggle fully embraced the third dimension? This level presents one possible vision.
