EA Announce Mass Effect 2 Is Coming To The Playstation 3 In January 2011

EA have announced that Mass Effect 2 is coming to the Playstation 3 in January 2011. This version of Mass Effect 2 will come with the game as well as bonus content. EA Have Released New Screenshots For The Upcoming Overlord DLC For Mass Effect 2

EA Have released new screenshots for the upcoming Overlord DLC for Mass Effect 2. The Overlord DLC is 1 story set on a planet. this story is split into 5 levels where you find yourself battling through a laboratory to stop the enemy. Players will be able to explore the planet in the Hammerhead. The in-game screenshots released by EA show some of the computer controlled characters and the games main characters in battle.

EA Has proudly announced that, according to EA's own data, Mass Effect 2 has sold over 2 million units worldwide. They have also announced that Mass Effect 2 has become the second highest rated game on the Xbox 360, according to Metacritic, earning a average Metacritic score of 96/100.
EA Announce that the game received 40 perfect review scores, earned 30 editors choice awards, and has appeared on the front covers of 45 magazines worldwide.

EA And Bioware Revealed The Cerberus Network. A In-Game Mass Effect 2 News Portal

EA And Bioware have revealed The Cerberus Network. This is a In-Game portal in Mass Effect 2 that keeps players up to date with Mass Effect 2, get information regarding DLC, and get Bonus Content. EA have also revealed that gamers who activate and access The Cerberus Network when the game is released will get the first DLC pack on January 26th.

The Cerberus Network will only be available to gamers who buy the game. A one time use code will be included in all versions of Mass Effect 2. gamers who do not buy the game new can make a in-game purchase to get access to The Cerberus network.

EA And BioWare Announce Mass Effect 2 Is Coming Out In The UK On January 29th On PC And Xbox 360

EA And BioWare have announced that Mass Effect 2 will come out in the UK on PC and Xbox 360 on January 29th.
A Pre-Order Bonuses for the game include the Terminus Gear, which has the Terminus Assault Armor and M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon. Another Pre-order, but separate, incentive is the Inferno Armor. More information about these Pre-Orders, which retailers offer them and prices will be revealed later.

Pre-order bonuses include special-ops armor and weaponry that are designed to boost Commander Shepard’s skills and abilities. Terminus Gear includes the powerful Terminus Assault Armor and the M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon. Terminus Armor is designed for use in extreme planetary conditions, increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo. The M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass, and ultimately expanding the selection of heavy weapons available to players when they gear up for combat missions in Mass Effect 2.

Inferno Armor will also be available as a separate pre-order incentive.
