This Weeks WiiWare, DSiWare, And Virtual Console Releases

This weeks USA Nintendo WiiWare, Virtual Console, And DSiWare update consists of 5 new games. Altered Beast on Virtual Console, Arkanoid Plus! and Driift Mania on Wiiware. Art Academy Second Semester and Dragon Quest Wars on DSiWare.

Virtual Console
This games costs 1,000 Wii points and is 1-2 players. the game starts when you have been bought back to life. Zeus tasks you with rescuing his daughter, Athena, from the underworld. the game features spirit balls who give your character strength and the ability to transform into a variety of forms.

WiiWare
This game costs 600 Wii Points and is 1-2 players. arcade mode consists of 61 rounds, divided into left and right versions, with two types of boss characters. there is a VS Mode where you can play against the CPU or a friend. there is a Time Mode, where you do challenges to compete rounds in a time limit.
ARKANOID Plus!



DRiiFT Mania
This game costs 800 Wii points and is 1-8 players. the game is a top down racer with a 12 tracks, 3 Arenas, 4 themed environments, and 32 cars cars. there are also 7 game modes ranging from traditional championships and team races to Cold Potato and Meteorite.




Nintendo DSiWare

Art Academy™: Second Semester
This is 800 DSi Points and is 1 player only. this is a art course which is expanded with a larger set of tools and lessons over the original game.


DRAGON QUEST WARS
This is 500 DSi Points and is for 1-4 Players. this is a Grid based strategy game features many of the monsters from Dragon Quest Wars. you can also battle with foes from across the world using the Nintendo WiFi Connection.

EA Announces That A Demo For Need For Speed Shift Will Be Available On October 1st For Playstation 3 And Xbox 360


EA Has Announced that a demo for Need For Speed Shift will be available on October 1st to download for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. there are 4 playable cars, BMW M3 (E46), 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10, 2006 Lotus Elise 111R, 2008 Nissan GT-R. there is also a unlockable 5th car, a 2006 Pagani Zonda F. you can race these cars on either the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps or the London River street track.

Majesco Announce That Bananagrams Is Available On The iTunes App Store For $4.99 / £2.99

Majesco have announced that bananagrams, the popular Facebook game, is now available on the iTunes App Store for $4.99 in N. America and £2.99 in the UK.

the object of the game is to take a batch of word tiles and try to create as many words as possible before you run out of word tiles. what makes the game unique is that both players play simultaneously and create interconnected words. The iPhone/iPod Touch version has a Live mode where you can have up to 24 friends playing head to head or compete for best individual times.

Majesco Also announce that the facebook version enables players to compete with other players from around the world in multiplayer matches.
