Press Release
Milton Keynes, UK – 9th March 2011 – International videogames publisher 505 Games has today proudly announced the first Nintendo 3DS outing of everyone’s favourite adolescent ninja with Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era. Set for release before the end of the year, Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era will provide high-kicking action in glorious, portable 3D in an all new story setting.
In this latest videogame action adventure in the long running and celebrated series, Naruto is presented for the very first time in 3D, with dynamic camera twists and turns taking full advantage of the new Nintendo handheld’s hardware capabilities. Naruto is available from the outset as a selectable character, with rival Sasuke un-lockable during the course of gameplay. A supporting cast of ten ‘assist’ characters, three of which can be taken along per chapter, offers a different dynamic to gameplay, allowing for a more strategic approach to combat.
Naruto fans will be able to engage in a bespoke storyline based on the last events of the manga and animation series, featuring an all new female ninja character, Malice. The mysterious Five Kages, will also make their first videogame appearance in an adventure which spans nine different locations, with secret items and stages aplenty to be unlocked along the way.
“Naruto is a franchise that inspires fierce loyalty amongst its fans, so we’re very conscious that any game featuring its characters has to be of a particular quality to keep them satisfied,” commented Ralph Pitt-Stanley, Commercial Director, 505 Games. “We’re proud to be the first publisher to bring Naruto into the 3rd gaming dimension, and hope this forms the basis for many more to come.”
Naruto Shippuden 3D- The New Era on 3DS also incorporates the lead character’s ‘Sage Mode’, in which Naruto transforms into a significantly more powerful version of himself once his special gauge is charged to maximum. The game will make use of the 3DS’ motion controls, in situations such as avoiding certain attacks and during boss fights. Players will also be able to redeem Sharingan codes to unlock ingame items and characters by using the 3DS’s camera to reveal the secret codes to be issued by 505 Games.
Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era will be published by 505 Games, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in 2011.

Media Molecule Detail Little Big Planet 2 Update 1.02 "Apple Cake" Which Is Out Now
Media Molecule have announced update 1.02 is out now for Little Big Planet. they've called the update "Apple Cake" and revealed it's mostly a small update that brings fixes to the game Including:
- Fixed an issue where a player that imports a profile from a different user and declines the EULA can still play online. It should no longer be possible for a player that imports another users profile and declines the EULA to play online, selecting an online option should prompt them to re-read and accept/decline the EULA.
- Fixed an issue whereby a client leaving an online create session would hang when they opted to use the “Import Profile” option after being returned to their pod.
- Fixed an issue where some Japanese store text descriptions contained visible HTML tags.
- Fixed an issue where players that had imported beta profiles and were using DLC assets they didn’t own could still use them. In 1.01 we fixed a problem to do with importing assets from the beta trial build which allowed users access to some rare DLC items. Part of the fix was to check for stripped assets and not allow a user to select them in pop-it. The item however would still be visible in pop-it and have an exclamation mark over its icon. Players could highlight one of these items and very quickly press the O and X buttons with it highlighted which would allow the user to still wear it.
