Sony have released the Debut trailer for SOCOM 4. this trailer does not show any in-game action and appears to be made from cutscenes from the game. the trailer does show the 5 player squads previously mentioned and perhaps what some of the stages may look like in style and layout.

Sony Announce SOCOM 4 And It Has A Fall 2010 Release Exclusively On The Playstation 3
Sony has announced that Zipper Interactive is working on SOCOM 4 and that the game is set to come out exclusively on the Playstation 3 this fall. The Game will have a single player story as well as a 32 player online multiplayer modes. A debut trailer for the game will be shown on GameTrailers TV at 12.30 AM EST/PST
Some game details have also been revealed. in the game, a militant revolutionary has taken control of an important South Asian country. as a member of the Ops Com, your mission is to take command of a 5 man squad to stop them. but, you only have 6 days.

EA Announce The Next Expansion Pack For The Sims 3 Is Ambitions
EA has revealed that the next expansion for The Sims 3 is Ambitions. The Sims 3 Ambitions Expansion pack is currently set for a June release on the PC. This expansion pack will allow Sims to pursue a variety of exciting career paths that can affect the gameplay experience and the neighbourhood. Whilst on a job, the player can directly control the Sims and choose how they spend their day, for example a Player can make house calls as a doctor or use the patients to test experimental medicine on them. Other jobs include a Ghost Hunter, an Inventor, Sculptor, Investigator, and a firefighter.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Announce Galactic Taz Ball For The Nintendo DS
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that they are releasing Galactic Taz Ball on the Nintendo DS. The game is coming out in Australia and Europe in May, whilst a USA release is currently set for fall.
In the game, Taz is kidnapped by Marvin the Martian who is stealing the earth's landscape to make Mars more scenic. Taz has to find Marvin and stop him from destroying the planet and get back to Earth.
The game has two worlds, each with their own gameplay mechanic. The "Overworld" is a action style 3D game that plays on the Nintendo DS top screen, with the stylus controlling the character on the bottom screen. The "Underworld" is a side scrolling puzzle game played on the Bottom screen of the DS.

EA have announced that they are going to Publish Hothead Games "DeathSpank" to the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this year. DeathSpank has a story written by Ron Gilbert, the creator behind The Secret Of Monkey Island.
In The Game you play as DeathSpank, the hero of the game. in the game you are looking for "The Artifact" and fulfilling your life long destiny. on the journey you will rescue orphans, defeat tyrants, and begin to unravel a deeper mystery surrounding the legendary Thongs of Virtue. Square Enix Europe Reveal Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Square Enix Europe have announced that Crystal Dynamics are developing Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The game will be released via a digital download in 2010, but no information regarding platform was provided. The press release doesn't mention why the game has dropped "Tomb Raider" from its title.Press Release
Crystal Dynamics, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light, a new game developed by Crystal Dynamics, which will be released via digital download in 2010.
“This is a really exciting project for Crystal Dynamics, we have created something completely new and very different to what people might be expecting,” said Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics.
“Lara Croft is such an iconic character in videogames, with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light we have created what we believe is a truly original digital experience.”
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be shown strictly “behind closed doors” at this year’s Game Developers Conference beginning on March 9th.
Crystal Dynamics is an award-winning studio located in San Francisco. Founded in 1992, the studio has created and developed key game franchises such as: Legacy of Kain, Pandemonium, Gex and most recently the Tomb Raider series.

Codemasters have announced that Race Driver:GRID is coming to the Playstation 3 Platinum Games Range as Race Driver:GRID Reloaded. Race Driver:GRID Reloaded is set to come out on 12th March in the UK, and 11th March in other PAL Countries, for £24.99.Race Driver:GRID Reloaded comes with DLC codes for £10 worth of content. The 2 DLC packs are the Prestige Pack and 8 Ball Pack, both of these packs are already available for download for players with Race Driver:GRID.
The new Prestige Pack introduces the beautifully realised, legendary Australian Bathurst circuit and 10 of the planet’s most desirable cars, including the Ferrari F430 GTC, Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari F575 GTC. Gamers can also get behind the wheel of the Mercedes SLR McLaren 722, Lotus 2-Eleven, Lamborghini Gallardo GT, Mazda Furai, Jaguar XKR GT3, Honda Integra Type-R (DC5) and Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

This weeks Zero Punctuation is on BioShock 2. could the return to Rapture be enough for Yahtzee to like this game, or could this be just another unnecessary sequel?
Halfbrick Reveal Upcoming Mini's Title "Rocket Racing"
Halfbrick have revealed their upcoming Mini's game Rocket Racing. this game is set for release in Europe on 11th March and it will be compatible with both the PS3 and PSP. the game will cost €4.99/£3.99.Rocket Racing is a top down futuristic racing game.
The tracks have been designed with a unique twist and are set in different locations. The game has Challenge Modes, Grand Prix modes, and Party Modes. The game also has a unique game mechanic where you grind the vehicles rockets against the outer walls of the tracks to get a speed boost. Halfbrick have released screenshots for Rocket Racing that appear to be in-game and show in-game action from a variety of tracks as well as the grinding mechanic.

Sony Online Entertainment Announce PoxNora Has Recieved A Major Update In The Latest Game Update
Sony Online Entertainment have released a major game update to PoxNora which has improved and enhanced many aspects of the game as a whole. This game update is out now.
Sony Online Entertainment have also released new screenshots and a trailer showing the improvements to the game. the screenshots are in-game and show many different parts of the game, whilst the trailer is made from artwork and in-game action from many different areas in the game.

Traveller’s Tales And Lego Systems Extend Partnership To Develop Lego Videogames Until 2016 [Update]
Lego Systems and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group have announced that Traveller’s Tales has the Worldwide Licensee Agreement to develop Lego based games until 2016. So far Lego based videogames have sold close to 50 Million units worldwide. The Next game to be released in the Lego series is Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4, which is set for a 2010 release.
