Nintendo Announce A New Wii U Deluxe Bundle, Coming 1st November With 2 Games For $299.99



Nintendo have revealed a new Wii U Bundle that comes to the USA on 1st November. for $299.99, you get a 32GB Black Wii U Console and New Super Mario Bros. U And New Super Luigi U, both games on one disc.

Nintendo Reveal 3 New Wii U Bundles Coming To The UK From 8th November



Nintendo have announced there are 3 new Wii U Bundles coming to the UK. the first bundle is coming 8th November and it's a black 32gb premium Wii U, Wii U GamePad, and both New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U (packaged on the same disc). On 15th November a basic White 8gb console and accessories will come out bundled with Wii Party U and Nintendo Land. Then, on 22nd November there is another basic white Wii U, and accessories, bundle with Just Dance 2014 and Nintendo Land.

Latest Nintendo Direct For Wii U Reveals 2 Exclusive Sonic Games, Release Dates And Trailers

Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct for the Wii U last friday and this is a highlight of the announcements. there will be a further Nintendo Direct before E3 where more details will be revealed on games like Sonic Lost World.




Nintendo and Sega have announced 2 exclusive Sonic games are coming to the Wii U. first up is Sonic Lost World. so far only this picture of the world has been released for this action adventure platforming game, with more information being announced before E3. Also revealed was Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. this game will make use of the GamePad, Wii Remote Plus Controller and sometimes both. events will include Figure Skating Pairs, Snowboard Slopestyle and they take place in both Sonic and Mario worlds.

Platinum Games have announced The Wonderful 101 will come out on 23rd August.

Nintendo have revealed the New Super Luigi U DLC release date will be 20th June. But, Nintendo will also release a version of New Super Luigi U on the Wii U eShop that won't need New Super Mario Bros. U and this is set to come out on 26th July. this DLC brings 82 updated courses to the game and a new playable character in Multiplayer called Nabbit who can steal items from Toad Houses.

In Pikmin 3, it's been revealed that there are 3 new playable characters instead of Olimar. they are Alph, Brittany and Charlie. The GamePad will be used by the game to provide a map of the world and show what each Pikmin is up to. Pikmin 3 should come out across the EU on 26th July.

Game & Wario comes out across the EU on 28th June and will include 16 games.



And Capcom have released a new trailer for Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS, the game hits retail and the eShop on 24th May.

Nintendo Reveal New Super Luigi U DLC Details, Includes 82 Updated Courses And Coming Out This Summer

Nintendo have released new screenshots for the New Super Mario Bros. U DLC, New Super Luigi U. coming out this summer, this DLC will add 82 updated courses to the game that will star Luigi. Luigi is able to jump higher than Mario but is unable to stop quickly. the level timer has been reduced to 100 seconds and the quick stages are full of obstacles.

Nintendo Announce The Wii U Has Sold Over 890,000 In The USA In 41 Days On Sale, Reveal Other Figures


Nintendo have revealed that in just 41 days, the Wii U has sold over 890,000 across the Wii U. whilst this is less that the Wii, Nintendo point out that the Wii U has generated revenue of more than $300 Million, which is more than the Wii had generated in the same time scale which was $270 Million (this is due to the higher price of the Wii U).

Other figures released by Nintendo include:
Wii U:
  • New Super Mario Bros. U has now sold more than 580,000 units, an attach rate of more than 65 percent.
Nintendo 3DS:
  • Nintendo 3DS sold more than 1.25 million units in December and has crossed 7.7 million units sold life to date.
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2 became the fourth Nintendo 3DS title to surpass 1 million units sold in the U.S., and has now sold more than 1.45 million units life to date.
  • Nintendo 3DS continues to outpace the historic sales rate of Nintendo DS.
Wii:
  • Wii sold nearly 475,000 units and crossed 40.8 million units sold life to date.
  • Ubisoft's Just Dance 3 became the 10th Wii title to sell more than 5 million units life to date.
Nintendo DS:
  • Nintendo DS sold nearly 470,000 units and crossed 53 million units sold life to date.

Nintendo Have Released An Interview With The Developers Behind New Super Mario Bros. U

Nintendo have released a new video for New Super Mario Bros. U. this video features 3 members of the games dev team, the Director Masataka Takemoto and Planners Daiki Iwamoto and Shigeyuki Asuke. they talk through several aspects of the game from not just the game itself but also the hardware and further Wii U integration.

they start the video by talking about the experience of seeing a Mario running in HD and the little extras that were added like light effects on the fire ball. they go on to talk about other parts of the game like, the world map, and talk about why it's like that, an example was to show some of the enemies you'll encounter in that level. 

this video is nearly 18 minutes long and shows in-game action for each of the points they talk about, like videos of Gomba's looking down so they don't fall of edges. the developers also talk about the GamePad, how there are benefits like adding blocks to levels to help your friends get to other areas. MiiVerse features are included in the game, an example shown is if you keep dying in the same place you can post it to the MiiVerse and converse why your dying.

Nintendo Announce New Super Mario Bros. U For The Wii U



Nintendo have announced a new Mario game is coming to the Wii U. New Super Mario Bros. U is a new side scrolling game for up to 5 players, 4 on the screen with the 5th using the Wii U GamePad to provide boosts such as powerups.

Game Features :

Swoop through levels and cling to walls when Mario transforms into Flying Squirrel Mario, or gently float through the air while hanging onto Tiny Balloon Yoshi.
The Wii U GamePad controller offers a new way to play multiplayer in this game. An extra player can jump into the action using the new Boost mode, creating platforms out of thin air to help others navigate tricky stages or access hidden or hard-to-reach items.
Boost mode also makes cooperative speed runs possible for the first time. Use the GamePad to interact with and manipulate enemies and objects in real time, allowing for new ways to find the fastest routes through each level. 
Play on the big screen or the small screen. Switch game play from the TV to the GamePad at any time to continue playing even when others are using the TV.
Experience Mario together like never before with Miiverse. See other players’ comments and accomplishments while you play and leave your own feedback for others to see when connected to the Nintendo Network.
