Today is Mobile Friday and i'm playing Star Trek: Lower Decks - The Badgey Directive.

The game is out on iOS and Android

But i'll be playing the iOS version.

I am playing on an iPhone 14 Pro that has iOS 16.1 installed.

I'm a big fan of Star Trek so i was surprised to find this game on the app store. i never knew it was out. i was excited to try it out and i admit i maybe a little biased. so, i do try to keep to the facts about how it plays. but as far as a Star Trek experience, i felt that it stuck close to the show. i would've liked the game to have voice work tho.

Namco Bandai have released a new behind the scenes look at Star Trek: The Video Game. this video features Brian Miller talking about bringing Gorn to the game. he talks about, and uses in-game action and concept art to show, the different types of Gorn. he reveals there are 15 different types of Gorn in the game as well as female ones. they used real life female lizards and geckos to come up with an appropriate colour for them.

Namco Bandai have revealed 2 new characters in Star Trek: The Video Game. both are Vulcan and known to Spock. T'Mar is a Vulcan Scientist who will play a key role in the game. she is a childhood friend of Spock's. her farther is the other new character. Surok was one of Spock's childhood mentors and is now a leader on New Vulcan. both will play key roles in helping Kirk and Spock uncover why the Gorn attacked New Vulcan and stole a machine called the Helios Device.

Namco Bandai have also revealed New Vulcan orbits a binary star system and the story told in the game is cannon in the new Star Trek Universe.

Namco Bandai and Paramount Pictures have released the first behind the scenes look at Star Trek: The Video Game. this video focuses on Co-Op, it reveals that having a Co-Op game that focuses on Kirk and Spock was the logical thing to do. as well as showing more in-game action, the trailer reveals that you even get to play as the Enterprise in a firefight. several locations and scenariors are shown in this video, from stealth to run and gunning and working together.

Namco Bandai have released a new trailer for the upcoming Star Trek: The Game. this trailer shows action aboard the Enterprise and in several other locations. the action is a mix of Kirk and Spock against Gorn or on a machine that appears to be falling apart. the video information from YouTube teases that the game story is about something being found on New Vulcan that will either save or kill all life in the Galaxy.

Namco Bandai have revealed that Star Trek: The Video Game will allow players to see more of the U.S.S Enterprise than the movie currently has. Star Trek: The Video Game comes out on 26th April and players will face off against Gorn on the Enterprise, with battles taking place in familiar locations like the Bridge, Transporter Room and Engine Room and other locations not yet seen in the movies like the Observation Lounge, Quarters and more.

Namco Bandai have announced the EU and Australasia release date for Star Trek: The Video Game. the game is set to come out on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 on 26th April at retail and digitally on PC and PS3.

Namco Bandai Reveal The Gorn Are Enemies In Star Trek, Film Cast To Provide Voices

Namco Bandai have made 2 announcements regarding the Star Trek game at E3. their first announcement was the reveal of the main enemy in the game. The Gorn are destructive, blood thirsty, and villainous. they are trying to conquer the galaxy and their military dictatorship as billions of self sacrificing Gorns who are going to help. there are different types of Gorn, small infantry are called Gorn Rushers, the larger warriors are Gorn Warriors and Gorn Brutes.

The other announcement regarding the Star Trek game is that the Star Trek film cast are providing their voices to the game. so  the bridge crew are Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho and Anton Yelchi.
