Maxis Have Released PT 1 Of A Video Series Showing Thier SimCity GlassBox Game Engine In Action
Maxis have released a new video for SimCity. this video is the first part at a look at the GlassBox simulation engine that runs the game. the aim of this video is not to show how good graphically the game looks, instead the video uses in-game action to show how eveything that happens in the game affects the games' simulation. examples they use include how coal goes to a powerstation, which then starts to generate power, and then creates pollution. they also show how the game deals with water and water pipes or housing areas and how each thing that comes to them helps build the houses.
