Namco Bandai Announce Kazé Are Publishing Tekken: Blood Vengeance Across Europe, Bringing It To Cinemas

Namco Bandai have announced Kazé are publishing Tekken: Blood Vengeance across Europe. as well as a DVD release this Autumn, Kazé are bringing the movie to selected cinemas from 27th July.

LYON, FRANCE – 30th June 2011 – NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today announced that Kazé (Viz Media Group), Europe’s leading publisher and distributor of anime, will be its distribution partner for the DVD of the forthcoming full-length computer animated feature film TEKKEN™: Blood Vengeance. In advance of the film’s DVD release this autumn, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe is organizing a series of exclusive screenings of the film across Europe on July 27th. To help mark the film’s forthcoming release, Mr. TEKKEN himself, Katsuhiro Harada, is attending Japan Expo 2011 in Paris this week to meet fans and talk about the project. On Friday 1st July at 11:00 Harada-san will host a signing session for fans in Signing Room 3, and on Saturday 2nd July at 15:30 he will make another signing session on the Kazé stand BE02 Hall 5A to talk about the film. Set in the TEKKEN universe with its rich characters and history, TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance is produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil: Degeneration, Death Note and Appleseed) with the screenplay written by Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop). Directing the project is Youichi Mouri, director of the opening movies for both Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. The film’s music is created by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Revolter, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen and Final Fantasy Tactics), the renowned Japanese composer responsible for the music in over 150 games, and whose other credits include anime projects and TV commercials.

One Piece: Gigant Battle for Nintendo DS set sail on its maiden voyage tomorrow, finding safe
harbor at retailers across Europe and Asia Pacific.
Developed by Gambarion, One Piece: Gigant Battle is a fight action game featuring the entire
One Piece cast from the Eiichiro Oda masterpiece. The game stays faithful to the original pirate
universe full of unexpected pranks and devilish wit, with environments full of gimics and the familiar
attacks of well known characters helping fans to give a taste of “true” One Piece battles. The story
traces that of the manga as the crew traverse the Sabaody Archipelago right up to the battle in
Marineford which will bring characters and stages from that period of story.
In Pirate Grand Prix mode, players will take the crew island hopping, tackling a variety of missions
and launching into chaotic and crazy battles with unique pirates. The player could create original
pirates by choosing their favorite characters. Different side quests will unlock new characters and
extra missions. The wireless Multiplayer mode lets up to 4 players do battle for pirate supremacy
across a selection of troublesome stages.
