Namco Bandai have announced Kazé are publishing Tekken: Blood Vengeance across Europe. as well as a DVD release this Autumn, Kazé are bringing the movie to selected cinemas from 27th July.

LYON, FRANCE – 30th June 2011 – NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today announced that Kazé (Viz Media Group), Europe’s leading publisher and distributor of anime, will be its distribution partner for the DVD of the forthcoming full-length computer animated feature film TEKKEN™: Blood Vengeance. In advance of the film’s DVD release this autumn, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe is organizing a series of exclusive screenings of the film across Europe on July 27th. To help mark the film’s forthcoming release, Mr. TEKKEN himself, Katsuhiro Harada, is attending Japan Expo 2011 in Paris this week to meet fans and talk about the project. On Friday 1st July at 11:00 Harada-san will host a signing session for fans in Signing Room 3, and on Saturday 2nd July at 15:30 he will make another signing session on the Kazé stand BE02 Hall 5A to talk about the film. Set in the TEKKEN universe with its rich characters and history, TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance is produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil: Degeneration, Death Note and Appleseed) with the screenplay written by Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop). Directing the project is Youichi Mouri, director of the opening movies for both Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. The film’s music is created by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Revolter, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen and Final Fantasy Tactics), the renowned Japanese composer responsible for the music in over 150 games, and whose other credits include anime projects and TV commercials.
With audio in English, French, German, Italian and Japanese, TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance will bring the TEKKEN universe to dazzling life in a full length computer animated movie, giving fans the chance to immerse themselves deeper than ever in the compelling universe and discover what really motivates the complex characters as they sign up for each new King of Iron Fist Tournament.
The European distribution of the DVD release of TEKKEN™: Blood Vengeance by Kazé is separate from the recently announced TEKKEN Hybrid Blu-ray, which is scheduled for launch in November 2011 exclusively for PlayStation®3. TEKKEN Hybrid is a collection featuring the new full-length 3D compatible feature film TEKKEN™: Blood Vengeance 3D, the timeless TEKKEN smash hit game TEKKEN®Tag Tournament HD, and additional content yet to be announced.
