THQ Announce UK Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter Competition For Child Artists
THQ have announced a competition to coincide with the UK release of Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.
At www.drawyourhero.com , children have the opportunity to create their own hero, have it voted on. The top 5 creations from each region are voted on by celebrity judges, with the top picture from each region being created on a billboard in the winners town. those winners also win art supplies for their school and the game.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Drawn to Life®: The Next Chapter™, the innovative new videogame releasing on the Wii™ and Nintendo DS™, which actually allows children to create their own world by drawing directly into the game, THQ has launched the ‘Your Hero’ competition. This nationwide initiative invites children from across the UK to create their own videogame hero for a chance to win art supplies for their school as well as the unique opportunity to have their creation appear on advertising billboards around their home town as part of the game’s outdoor advertising campaign.
The “Your Hero” competition centers around an online hub (www.drawyourhero.com), where visitors can create their own character using the in-game drawing tools before entering them into the competition and sharing them with friends through the website’s gallery. In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for Wii, players will draw their own heroes using the Wii Remote™ to find the Artifacts of Power and rid the Raposa village of an evil, shadowy figure that has taken over the land. Hudson Entertainment Announce Deca Sports For The Nintendo DS
Hudson Entertainment have announced that their Deca Sports series is now moving onto the Nintendo DS. The Game currently has a Spring 2010 release date. Some of the events in the game include golf, ping pong, wall climbing, bobsled and rugby, as well as quirky and exotic sports such as arm wrestling, clay shooting, cheerleading, sky diving and sepak takraw.

Following the landmark success of the original DECA SPORTS and the upcoming release of the sequel DECA SPORTS 2, DECA SPORTS DS is an all-new sports compilation title with ten new games that can now be played on the go! Players will also be able to battle up to six friends in exciting multi-sports competition.
