Sony UK Confirm Yesterdays Statement By Sony Belgium Regarding PSN Cards.

Yesterday, Monday 25th, Sony Belguim was reported in saying, in regard to PSN Cards coming out in the EU, “We know that the demand is huge, but it’s a difficult task to release them. Europe has many countries, and each of them has their own VAT [Value Added Tax], you know. We won’t say it will never come, but you can’t expect it in the near future.”

I sent a message to Sony UK asking for confirmation of this staement. They replied with “What Sony Belgium said is true.” they followed up “We'll let you know when we have something new to add on this subject”

I did try to ask about the rumoured subscripion model and if PSN Cards would come out as a method of payment for that, or the PSP Go!. However those questions were not answered.

Sega - Vintage Collection 2 Screens for the XBLA

Sega have released a whole load of screens for the XBLA version of Sega Vintage Collection 2. The screens come from Altered Beast, Comix Zone, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star 2, Shinobi, and Sonic & Knuckles.

EA - Sports Grand Slam Tennis In Game Pictures

Sega - Renosance Of Fate Screenshots, Video and Press Release

Sega have made available to the press Screenshots, Videos and a press release for their game Resonance of Fate.

Resonance Of Fate is a partnership between Sega and Tri-Ace where they have created a new RPG. It will offer highly stylised graphics with a emphasis on realistic Gunplay and action, being done in a Hollywood Style.

Sony - Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Demo coming out Thursday - Press Release

Ahead of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite's June 26th release, Capcom are releasing a Demo for the game this Thursday, May 28th, which has 3 quests.

You can Download it directly to your PSP via the PSN, or through the PS3.

There is the chance to get a UMD demo of this game which will be sent out from June 1st, but these are strictly limited and need to be applied for online.

The demo of Japan’s most successful PSP title is coming to PAL territories on May 28th, giving wannabe hunters the chance to experience three dangerous quests from the game ahead of its release on June 26th. Sony PSP owners can download the demo directly to their PSP free of charge via the PSP Store by selecting the store icon and connecting using their PSN I.D or they can download to their PS3 console and simply transfer the demo across.

Players can adventure with up to three friends to get a taste of the multiplayer social gaming phenomenon that’s taking Japan by storm or choose to go it alone with the aid of a Felyne companion. After selecting your weapons and armour you will journey through woodlands, swamps and deserts to hunt down some of the fiercest and most majestic monsters that ever lived.

As an alternative to downloading this demo Capcom is also producing limited numbers of the demo UMD’s which Gamers can register to be sent at www.encyclopedia-gigantica.com or www.capcom-europe.com from the 1st June. Successful registrants will receive four copies of the demo so that they can easily set up a hunting party.
