Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products today announce the critically-acclaimed Karaoke Revolution franchise will return with an all-new lineup, featuring 20 of the best songs and show moments from part two of Season One from the award-winning hit television series
Hot off the heels of the original smash hit, Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 2 will let gamers once again feel like part of the world’s most popular glee club - New Directions - as they sing alongside their favorite characters. Players will be able to take the mic and belt out Gives you Hell alongside Rachel, pose with Kurt as he performs Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance or shake the rafters with Mercedes when she brings down the house in Like a Prayer, and more. ‘Gleeks’ can also expect some new faces, including songs sung by the Vocal Adrenaline heartbreaker, Jesse St. James! To top it all off, the game will also feature extended performances and exclusive clips from the show offering fans excellent video montages and never-before-seen show moments.
"We knew that GLEE fans were unbelievably passionate and loyal, but even we were

Entertainment, Inc. "Well, now ‘Gleeks’ have their wish and with this new game they can perform even more of the hits that have made the show such a runaway success.”
"The close and personal connection that comes with a GLEE videogame is unparalleled

Warner Bros. Announce A 6 Comic Mini-Series That Bridges The Gap From Batman Arkham Asylum To Arkham City
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced a 6 comic Mini Series is coming that will bridge the gap between Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City. The comic is written by Paul Dini, writer of both Arkham games and Batman: The Animated Series, and drawn by Calos D'anda, concept artist for both Arkham games. each comic will cost $2.99 and come out day and date worldwide. There will also be 8 page interludes, available for $0.99, that will focus on each of the enemies in the city. The print version of Batman: Arkham City Collected Edition will have both comics and interludes.
Batman Arkham City takes place 1 year after Arkham Asylum, Quincy Sharp has decided to close the Asylum and create Arkham City, a maximum security "Home" for them. Dr Hugo Strange was employed to run the urban prison, but the inmates are free to raom and do what they want as long as they don't try to escape.
Press Release
Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the most successful video games of 2009 and earned a Guinness World Record for the “Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.” This May, find out what happened between Batman: Arkham Asylum and its highly anticipated sequel in BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY, a six-issue mini-series that bridges the gap between the two games, and leads into the game’s release this Autumn.
Written by Batman: The Animated Series writer Paul Dini (who also penned both Arkham games) and drawn by Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City concept artist Carlos D’anda, BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY picks up one year after the original game, where former Arkham Warden turned newly elected Mayor of Gotham City Quincy Sharp has decided to close down the infamous institution. In its stead, he establishes “Arkham City,” the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, inmates can roam free and do whatever they want as long as they don’t try to escape. To run this urban prison, Sharp has appointed Dr. Hugo Strange, a man who knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman.
Each issue of the mini-series will be available day-and-date digitally worldwide for $2.99 each. These releases will alternate with eight-page digital-first interludes that will expand on the story included in the miniseries. Written by Dini and drawn by a variety of artists, these digital stories will focus on The Dark Knight’s many enemies as they vie for power in this new city within a city. Each eight-page digital-first interlude will be available for .99 cents, releasing in between issues of the mini-series, and will later be included in print in the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY collected edition.
“The digital first stories offer a unique incentive for fans to experience interesting and exciting stories beyond the pages in the printed comic,” said Jim Lee, DC Comics Co-Publisher, “The additional pages will serve as interludes within the regular issues and won’t be necessary to follow the main story of the mini-series. Fans will also be able to read these interludes in print later, when we publish the collected edition.”
Read the comic before you play the game, and keep an eye out for the issue #1 variant cover, utilising in-game graphics.
BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY will double-ship in its first month, with issues #1 & #2 landing in May.

2K Games Announce Darkness II For The PC, PS3, And Xbox 360, Coming Fall 2011
2K Games have announced Darkness II, a sequel to the 2007 game from Digital Extremes. Darkness II is set to come out in fall 2011 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The game is in development at Digital Extremes and features a narrative from Paul Jenkins, an award winning comic book writer.
Darkness II is set 2 years after the first game and after bottling up the Darkness powers for that time, those powers want out. a full scale mob war breaks out, letting the Darkness out and questions about who started it.
Press Release
Windsor, UK – February 8, 2011 – 2K Games announced today that The Darkness™ II, the sequel to the million unit-selling 2007 title, The Darkness™, will be coming to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC in fall 2011. Developed by Digital Extremes and based on the supernatural horror comic book series created by Top Cow Productions, Inc., The Darkness II takes players down a brutal and personal path as Jackie Estacado, wielder of The Darkness – an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction.
The Darkness II breaks out of the sea of conventional first-person shooters with its fervid Quad-Wielding gameplay, which will allow players to slash, grab, and throw objects and enemies with their Demon Arms while simultaneously firing two weapons. The game is layered with the use of dark versus light, steeped in deep and twisted storytelling, and engulfed in stylistic violence that is visualized through a hand-painted graphic noir technique that stays true to its comic book origins.
“The Darkness II is a well of dark and imaginative violence, and it’s a stylized and beautiful nightmare,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “The Darkness II continues the 2K Games tradition of delivering quality, innovative games that are filled to the brim with atmosphere and deep storytelling. The game takes a unique stance on fighting in the dark versus light. Combined with the arsenal of weapons at Jackie’s disposal and the gruesome attacks of the supernatural Demon Arms and Darkness powers, we’re proud to announce another title that delivers on our core values of creating games for gamers.”
The Darkness II will feature award-winning comic book writer, Paul Jenkins, who will provide a tightly integrated narrative that weaves dark humor with hardcore tenderness.
Take a step back from the familiar and comfortable, and prepare to embrace The Darkness.
It’s been two years since Jackie Estacado, now the Don of the Franchetti crime family, used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. He’s been unable to shake the memory of Jenny’s death since bottling up his supernatural power, and now The Darkness wants out. A sudden, unprovoked attack on Jackie’s life heralds the start of a full-scale mob war, which has clearly been orchestrated by some outside force. The botched attempt opens the door for The Darkness to reemerge, and sets Jackie on a journey to hell and worse, as he unravels the mystery behind the attack and the motivations of The Darkness itself.
“Sometimes that whooshing sound you hear is that of comic fans holding their collective breath,” said Marc Silvestri, founder and CEO of Top Cow Productions and co-creator of The Darkness comics. “So often disappointed when a favorite character gives birth to a lame movie or video game, us fans have come to expect the worst. And sometimes we get it. But not with The Darkness II. Yeah, call me biased, but this second installment of Jackie Estacado’s epic saga is – in my humble opinion – one of the most brutally cool games I’ve ever played. 2K Games hammered this one out of the park.”
The Darkness II is not yet rated by PEGI. For more information on The Darkness II, please visit www.embracethedarkness.com.
