Atari have announced that the release date for Test Drive Unlimited 2 has been put back to early 2011. no specific release date has been provided by Atari, but they say the reason for the delay is to provide the "developers with additional time to fully enhance the connected console multi-player experience for consumers and deliver the ultimate blend of exhilarating open world racing and a luxurious, fast-lane lifestyle." Anther reason for the delay is due to consumer feedback.

The Test Drive Unlimited 2 Beta has been rescheduled, but those who have already signed up will get an exclusive in-game item for the delay. again, no new release date for the beta has been provided by Atari.

Atari have announced that the Aston Martin One-77 will be in Test Drive Unlimited 2 and playable. The Aston Martin One-77 is only getting a limited release of 77 cars, which means the only time for many to drive the car will be in Test Drive Unlimited 2.
