Konami Announce Metal Gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition, Coming This December

Konami have announced Metal Gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition, a re-release of Metal Gear Solid 4 for PS3 coming this December to the EU. Metal Gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition comes with Metal Gear Solid 4 with trophy support and a exclusive double sided poster by Yoji Shinkawa. Online UK retailers have the game coming out 30th November with prices from £14.95 at Zavvi to £19.99 at Play.com.

Konami Announce The Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots Trophy Patch Is Out Now

Konami have announced the trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots is out now worldwide. the patch comes in at 516MB and brings Trophy Support and the ability to install all the game data to the PS3, which is roughly an additional 9GB.

Konami have revealed the trophy list for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots. Konami have said the patch is set to come out in early August. no specific release date was announced, but over in Japan, the patch is set to come out on Monday so i expect it out this week. as well as bringing trophies to the game, the patch also brings data install to the game to eliminate the pre-stage loading times.

Bronze	You enjoy all the killing, that’s why.	Killed many enemies in one area, and vomited.
Bronze	Divine Wind	Caused a “divine wind” using the Tanegashima.
Bronze	Hands Up!	Held an enemy soldier at gunpoint and performed a body check.

the game is also getting a retail re-release later in august and this will come full updated.

Konami have announced they are working on a trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots. this patch has often been rumoured since trophies first came to the PS3, and now Konami have confirmed it. Konami haven't revealed when the patch is coming, but they have also announced a new version of Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released at retail with trophy support built in.
