Switch Funday - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass - 50 Minutes Playing Online

For Switch Funday, i was looking to play something familiar, something i could relax to. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe isn't the most obvious game, but i know i'm not the best player so there's no pressure on me to try and win. my only goal is to not finish last. there were a couple of times when i failed to reach that goal.

I tried editing this video a little bit, cutting out the lobby time. so in real life, it was near 1 hour 15 minutes. i stopped 'cause the game had started to no longer be relaxing, rather it was becoming a little frustrating. i do enjoying playing it and it's nice that i can pop in for an hour or so and just relax and play with no pressure on me.

Switch Funday - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass - 5 Tracks from DLC Wave 3

On December 7th, Wave 3 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Booster Course Pack was released. This included 8 courses. My goal was to play as many of them as i could in an hour. Ultimately, i was only able to play 5 of the 8 in not too much longer than an hour.

London Loop was fun, the map looks intense and the level changes each lap so it's very interesting. Berlin Byways, like London Loop, has many famous places from the city as well as a course that also changes as you play. Peach Gardens is also interesting as on the last lap the direction of the race changes. I thought Merry Mountain was a little simple, but there are hazards on the track to watch out for. the same can be said, to a lesser degree, about Rock Rock Mountain as i found it to be more interesting with its flying sections and hazards.

Overall, i enjoyed the courses i played. i didn't pay for the DLC as it comes with my Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass. 

Online Saturday - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass - Battle Mode

Today's Online Saturday is on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass's Battle Mode. It's a mode that i haven't really played online. 

The videos i've posted here have always been on online racing. As i haven't played Battle Mode much, i didn't know what to expect. so, you'll hear that i was surprised for most of the video as i was playing game modes i didn't know know were in it. i was expecting just the game mode where you have balloons and attack other drivers. the biggest surprise was that i won a game!

Switch Funday - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass - An Hour of Not Finishing Last

Today, for Nintendo Switch Funday i take a break from Splatoon 3 and "relax" with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As ever, my goal is to not finish last and over the course of the hour i succeed...just...to achieve it. But what is even more impressive is that i get closer to first than i ever have been. Whilst i don't succeed in finishing first, watch and find out where i do finish!

Online Saturday - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Booster Course Pass

This Saturday's Online game is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Booster Course Pass.

I used to play Mario Kart on the Game Boy Advance against my friends using the link cable. i also played the GameCube version with my friends. but i haven't played it much online. 

Today's video shows an hour or so of regional opponents, i live in Japan, as well as worldwide opponents. my aim as ever is to not finish last, watch and find out if I succeed!
