EA Announce A Dead Space 2 Demo Is Coming On 21st December


EA Have announced a Dead Space 2 Demo is coming is coming to both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 from 21st December. In the demo, you will play as Isaac Clarke whilst he is in the safe Church of Unitology...which suddenly becomes dangerous and deadly and the Necromorphs reach him.

GUILDFORD, UK. – December 8, 2010 – Dive into engineer Isaac Clarke’s blood-curdling adventure five weeks before release as Visceral GamesTM, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. today announced a demo for the critically-acclaimed action horror game, Dead SpaceTM2. The demo, available worldwide beginning December 21st, will allow players to discover the Church of Unitology and help Isaac defeat the Necromorph outbreak in a gruesome, unforgiving battle on The Sprawl. Winner of GameSpot’s highly-coveted ‘Best Xbox 360 Game’ of E3 award, Dead Space 2 will deliver the first big blockbuster title of 2011 when the title ships this January.

In the Dead Space 2 demo, players will take engineer Isaac Clarke on a terrifying adventure through the Church of Unitology, an expectedly “safe” place that quickly becomes dangerous and deadly, during the Necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl. Players will also have access to a variety of new tools that Isaac can use to fight Necromorphs, including the new Javelin gun, updated stasis recharge mechanic and enhanced telekinesis ability. Players will also experience the advanced suit, equipped with jets that will allow Isaac full 3600 control in Zero-G space.

EA Reveal Dead Space Ignition, A Downloadable Prequel To Dead Space 2


EA Have revealed Dead Space Ignition, a downloadable prequel game from Ignition Entertainment that tells the story of the initial Necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl. Dead Space Ignition was written by Antony Johnston, the author who wrote the 6-book Dead Space comic series that came out in 2008. Dead Space Ignition is set to come out on both the PSN and XBLA this fall.

Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer on the Dead Space franchise, has revealed that Dead Space Ignition is just one of the many upcoming game extensions they have planned for Dead Space 2. Dead Space Ignition is a interactive comic-style game that also has 3 Mini-Games to play in order to survive, Hardware Crack, Trace Route and System Override.

Dead Space Ignition does allow players to finish the game in multiple ways as it as a “Choose Your Own Adventure” type narrative. in all there are 4 unique endings to the game, and for every ending you complete you unlock you will be awarded with in-game items for Dead Space 2, like an exclusive suit for Isaac Clarke, that can be used when it comes out on 25th January 2011.

EA Have Released New Screenshots For Dead Space 2

EA have released new screenshots for Dead Space 2. these screenshots appear to be in-game and show the main character,Isaac Clarke, facing off against a variety of enemies. Most of the screenshots show Isaac Clarke using the Plasma Cutter, aiming it against enemies. The other focus of the screenshots is on Issac's suit, showing the subtle differences of this new suit.

EA have released the launch trailer for Dead Space 2. this debut trailer features what appears to be in-game footage of Issac and necromorphs, and possibly new necromorphs. there is some hints as to the new envoirnments and the state of Issac. EA also say there are some things hidden in the trailer.

EA Announces Dead Space 2 For PS3, Xbox 360, And PC


EA Has announced Dead Space 2 For Playstation 3, Xbox 360, And PC. Dead Space 2 Will Feature Isaac Clarke Again and this time he will fight against the Necromorphs as the infection spreads throughout space. He has his Plasma Cutter and a new range of weapons to defeat them with.

EA Have said that the story will have plot twists and not everything is as it seems. there will be more Zero G environments and many Necromorphs in the game. No Release date has been provided for the game.
