Press Release
Synthpop is coming to your Nintendo 3DS this week, as Mountain King, the latest single from the MTV EMA award-winning band The KOLIN, launches in 3D on Nintendo Video.

The Hungarian band from Budapest formed in 2008 and is famous for mixing analogue synths and living sounds harking back to the 1980s and 1990s, with dirty guitar sounds and groovy drums. Marko Lincényi leads proceedings as the band’s singer-songwriter and producer. He started out in the Hungarian National Opera House and is a talented classical and jazz pianist. The band was nominated as Best European Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009, Berlin and at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010, Madrid.

The Mountain King music video was created and produced by Umbrella. This production house is famous for its creative filmmaking techniques, mixing live action, stop motion and CGI technologies with classic 2D animation. Danila Kostil, who directed the video, combined all of these techniques in the Mountain King, along with the 3D capabilities of Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo Video brings music videos, exclusive comedy, animation, and action to your Nintendo 3DS. Every week, new 2D and 3D videos will be delivered to your Nintendo 3DS via the SpotPass feature.
