Press Release

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 27, 2011 - ATLUS and ACE Team today revealed that the Steam-exclusive PC version of  Rock of Ages™, their balls-to-the-walls game of tower offense featuring fast-paced strategy, high art, and gigantic boulders of doom, would be celebrating Halloween with a frightening 25% off discount through 10/31.
In addition to discounting the acclaimed game, ATLUS and developer ACE Team will also make a number of content changes in recognition of the spooky occasion, including a limited time updated title screen and a new in-game jack-o'-lantern boulder.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," screamed Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at ATLUS, in a terribly poor attempt at making his press release quote more frightening.  "As I was saying, we're excited to work with ACE Team, the talented developers of
Rock of Ages, to deliver a fun Halloween update for our acclaimed, unique tower offense offering.  With a ton of great press and solid fan feedback, it's hard to see how anyone could pass up the limited 25% sale, especially considering how players who sign into the game during the duration of the discount will be treated to special themed content.  Who's going to say no to jack-o'-lanterns, folks.  No, really... Who?" he asked, his eyes narrowing.

Hailed as "a must-have download" by GamePro,
Rock of Ages is a treat for the eyes, ears, and mind.  As players progress through nearly two dozen stages of crushing action, rewarding strategy, and breathtaking visuals, they'll be toured through five distinct periods of classic art history, encountering an assortment of famous historical and literary characters, outlandish and inspired defensive units, and fantastical bosses therein.  The blend of genres and visual elements is so unlike anything else, the overall experience so unprecedented, that Joystiq deemed  Rock of Ages "worth playing for the sense of disbelief that results."
Rock of Ages is currently available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC via Steam.  It is scheduled to roll onto PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 system later this year.  For more information, please visit www.atlus.com/rockofages
