2K Sports Announce A $1Million Prize To The First Perfect Game In MLB 2K10

2K Sports have announced that they are offering a $1,000,000 Cash Prize to the first person who throws a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K10. The contest will run from 2nd March until 2nd May. The Contest will run on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

The Gamer has to record the game and send it in on DVD. the MLB2K10 mode needed to play in is MLB Today, select any of the available matchups, then choose to participate in the ‘Major League Baseball 2K10 contest’. the game will then default to official gameplay rules.

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Jan 28, 2010 2K Sports announced today that they will give away an unprecedented cash prize in the amount of $1,000,000 to the first person who throws a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball® 2K10, the next iteration of the popular Major League Baseball® 2K series, prior to May 2, 2010. The special contest, available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft through the Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system through the PlayStation®Network*, illustrates 2K Sports’ dedication to delivering vastly improved gameplay and pitching mechanics this season in Major League Baseball 2K10.

Fans will be able to participate in the $1,000,000 Major League Baseball 2K10 contest beginning on March 2, 2010 at 12:01 AM PST, and ending on May 1, 2010 at 11:59 PM PDT. To compete, gamers must play in MLB Today mode, select from any of the available matchups, and then choose the option to participate in the ‘Major League Baseball 2K10 contest’ that will automatically default to the proper gameplay settings according to the official gameplay rules. Entries must be recorded via camera or digital video recorder in compliance with guidelines provided by 2K in the Official Rules, and all eligible entrants must submit a copy of their recording in its entirety for verification. Submissions will only be accepted on DVD.
