Rising Star Games Announce Akai Katana Comes To The UK On The Xbox 360 From 11th May


Rising Star Games have announced they are bringing the Xbox 360 exclusive Akai Katana is coming out in the UK on 11th May. Rising Star Games have also announced there will be tutorial videos available from the Akai Katana website from the 7th May to help those new to arcade side scrolling shooters.

Nintendo Have Revealed New Features And Screenshots For Mario Tennis Open On The 3DS

Nintendo have released new screenshots and revealed some new game features for their upcoming 3DS game Mario Tennis Open. Nintendo have confirmed there will be online play, however its local multiplayer only. your scores are uploaded to a monthly online leaderboard. Ink Showdown is a new mode where Piranha Plants spit ink balls at you. to save your screen being inked up, you have to hit those balls away.

Nintendo have detailed StreetPass features. you can use it to show off customised Mii characters, items which are unlocked from the item shop as you play the game. you can also play against computer controlled people you've met via StreetPass, either co-operatively in Ring Shot challenges or against them in matches. there are characters to unlock in the game. some will be unlocked as you play, others will be unlocked via QR Codes. some of these unlockable characters include Luma, Baby Mario and Dry Bowser.

Autumn Games have announced Skullgirls is coming to PC's this year. the game will be released digitally through GameFly, GamersGate, GameStop PC Downloads, Origin, and Steam. This PC version will feature updated in-game movelists, additional tutorials, tuned Single Player AI, enhanced leaderboards, and future updates the console versions will get. these updates, like the console versions, will be free.

Atlus have announced they are bringing Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita to the USA this Fall. Persona 4 Golden is exclusive to the PS Vita. This PS Vita version will feature more voice acting, and a new online dungeon rescue feature where users can call on other players for assistance in the TV world. other new content includes new Personas to collect, new story events, an all new character, and Atlus have revealed there will be new Anime cutscenes which include a new opening animation. the game will feature fan suggested tweaks and changes and more.

Sony Announce Frobisher Says! On The PS Vita Is Out Now For Free, Frobisher’s Super Fun Pack DLC Also Out For £1.59



Sony have announced Frobisher Says! is out now on the PS Vita PSN. this game is free and weighs in at 421 MB. there is also day 1 DLC for this game, the Frobisher’s Super Fun Pack costs £1.59. in the main game there are over 50 mini-games to play through, each making use of the PS Vita features.

Giant Sparrow Have Released A New Trailer For The Unfinished Swan On The PS3

Giant Sparrow have released a new trailer for their upcoming PS3 game The Unfinished Swan. not much had been heard about the game for several years, but on the Blog post the team reveal they set up a new studio and have been working with Sony on the game. the trailer appears to show some in-game action and some screenshots near the end. Giant Sparrow finish their blog post by detailing their aims with the game: 

" So we made a game about creating a sense of wonder. Our goal is to give players strange and beautiful experiences they’ve never had before. We want to give people genuine surprises, and then keep on surprising them the whole game. The painting a white world stuff is actually just the first 15 minutes. After that, things get really weird."
