Nintendo and Level 5 have announced Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask comes out on the 3DS in the UK on 26th October. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask has 150 new brainteasers and minigames. there is also a daily puzzle that can be downloaded from the Nintendo Network. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is the fifth in the series and is set some time after Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call.

Atari have revealed Atari Arcade, a browser based portal featuring HTML 5 reimagined Classic Atari games. these games have fresh graphics as well as integration with Facebook and Twitter. Atari Arcade will work with all HTML 5 browsers, but the Internet Explorer version will be ad-free. Atari Arcade will feature games including Asteroids, Pong, Lunar Lander, Missile Command and Centipede, with Super Breakout and Combat with new features so you can go head-to-head in real time and leaderboards.



The framework from which Atari Arcade has been built on means other developers can use their Create.js tools to bring cross browser, cross device HMTL 5 gaming and media experiences to their games.
