Sony Japan have announced a new range of games are coming out. the PSP Remaster series will be PSP Games released on BluRay discs with HD Graphics. new features will be added including support for the PS3 controller, new add-on content, and some games may even get support for Stereoscopic 3D. One feature of this series is that save games from the PS3 version can be used on the original PSP version of the games.
adhoc multiplayer will also be supported through the adhoc Party Playstation Portable App on the PS3. the first game announced for this series of games is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. from Capcom. Capcom have released a gameplay video showing the differences in graphics between the PSP and PS3 version.
I have asked Sony Europe if the PSP Remaster series is going to come out in the UK/EU. The reply was "Yes this will be coming to Europe". more details will be coming later, most likely before or during E3.

(SCEI) today announced that a new "PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) Remaster" title series, PSP titles customized and developed specifically for the PS3 computer entertainment system, will become available as Blue ray Disc™ games starting in the Japanese market.
"PSP Remaster" titles will deliver rich and immersive gaming experience on the PS3 system through stunning high-definition graphics as well as through additional new features for these titles, such as operability on the PS3 Wireless Controller (SIXAXIS® and DUALSHOCK®3), new add-on content or stereoscopic 3D support*1. Users will also be able to utilize the same save data from the original PSP game for the "PSP Remaster" version and enjoy the game on the go with the PSP system and continue the game at home on a large TV screen using PS3. Ad-hoc mode gameplay will also be supported through "adhoc party for PlayStation Portable" application on the PS3 system*2.
For Japan, the first "PSP Remaster" title to be introduced will be Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. from Capcom Co., Ltd. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for the PSP system is the latest installment of the blockbuster Monster Hunter franchise, which has alone shipped over 4.5 million units in Japan since its release in December 2010. The graphics of the PS3 version, including monsters, fields, equipment, as well as Felyne Comrades, are more gorgeous and vibrant than ever, and will deliver dynamic gameplay when played on the large TV screens. SCE, with strong support from software developers and publishers, will deploy various measures to enhance the software title line-up for the PS3 system.
SCE will continue to further expand the PS3 platform and create a new world of computer entertainment with innovative and exciting new titles.
*1 What content will be supported will depend by titles.

DYNASTY WARRIORS: GUNDAM 3 also features a number of gameplay additions to the series, including 3 brand new featured systems, including the Partner Strike, Emergency Dash and Recovery Gauge Systems, which will bring a new level of full-out tactical action to the series. The Partner Strike System will enable the player to summon partner characters to the battlefield to assist at crucial moments, affecting your character’s current melee engagement or possibly the overall battlefield conditions for your army. The Emergency Dash System will allow players to execute new cancel and evasion moves negating enemy attacks. This system will bring a new level to gameplay since powerful combos can be more easily parried. The new Recovery Gauge System enables players to recover armor during battle allowing players more flexibility in their tactics on the battlefield.
Additionally, DYNASTY WARRIORS: GUNDAM 3 brings a new strategy facet to gameplay. Battlefields now incorporate multiple facilities with various functions. Capturing these locations will change the battlefield conditions and turn the tide of the battle in your favor.
Players will be also able to use a new Chain Explosion System to engulf their enemies in a maelstrom of fury! By initiating an explosion via certain attacks, players will be able to cause further carnage with their own chain of explosions. Skillful players can use this system to finish off entire squads of Mobile Suits in one blow, thus turning the tide of battle in their favor!
Furthermore, players can take their favorite Mobile Suits and band together with others in intense online multiplayer co-op action with up to 4 players!
