Sony Online Entertainment Announce They Are Offering Free Realms Lifetime Memberships For $29.99 For A Limited Time


Sony Online Entertainment have announced that they are offering, for a limited time only, lifetime memberships to Free Realms. From Today, 16th July 12PM PDT, until 2nd August 12 PM PDT, you will be able to purchase a lifetime membership for only $29.99. Players who are currently monthly subscribers, you can still buy the lifetime membership and it'll activate once your current membership term is complete.

Nintendo Announce Super Mario Galaxy 2 Has Sold Over 1 Million Units In The USA


Nintendo have announced that Super Mario Galaxy 2 has now sold over 1 Million units in just the USA, with an estimated 1.1 Million units currently sold. NPD has reported that 548,000 units were sold in June.

Nintendo have revealed other NPD numbers, the Nintendo Systems sold 933.000 in June, 50% of all hardware sold in the USA in June. The Nintendo DS family sold 510.000 whilst the Wii sold 422.000.

In the month of June, U.S. sales of Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy™ 2 for the Wii™ system reached 548,000 units, according to the independent NPD Group, bringing the game's cumulative nationwide sales to more than 1.1 million units. Also in June, Nintendo systems sold a combined 933,000 units, accounting for 50 percent of all gaming hardware units sold in the United States. The Nintendo DS™ family of hand-held systems topped the charts with more than 510,000 units sold, bringing life-to-date unit sales to nearly 42 million. Wii system sales totaled more than 422,000, closing in on a cumulative milestone of 30 million units sold in the United States alone.

"Consumers continue to look to Nintendo for exceptional value and one-of-a-kind gaming experiences," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. Six of the top 10 best-selling games of June play on Nintendo systems. Hudson Announce They Are Bringing Beyblade Metal Fusion: Battle Fortress To The Wii This Holiday


Hudson have announced they are releasing a game based on Beyblade Metal Fusion. Beyblade Metal Fusion: Battle Fortress is set to come out on the Nintendo Wii this holiday, Christmas period. Hudson have also released new screenshots for the game. these screenshots are in-game and appear to show Quick Time Event moments from the game. The game features characters from the show as well as a unique story that exclusive to the game.

The story of Beyblade Metal Fusion: Battle Fortress is that the best Beybladers have been sucked into a giant fortress. they have to battle robot Bladers and discover the mystery behind their abduction. Beyblade Metal Fusion: Battle Fortress features 4 player battles, in "Battle Mode", were you can face off against either 3 AI players or 3 Human players. You are able to save your customised Blade to your WiiMote and then take your WiiMote to a friends house and play with your own Blade.

Nintendo Have Released A New Gameplay Video For Sin & Punishment: Star Successor

Nintendo have released a new gameplay video for Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. this video offers some gameplay tips for the game. The video shows specific moves, with slow-mo replays showing specifically how things are pulled off in the game. The tips range from how to deflect attacks, using charge attacks, and how to earn extra bonuses.




OG International Have Released New Screenshots For John Daly's ProStroke Golf

OG International have released new screenshots for John Daly's ProStroke Golf. these screenshots are in-game and they show some golf courses in the game as well as the control options on how to strike the ball, either from a Tee shot or putting the ball. the controls shown are for the Playstation 3 version of the game, but it would be fair to assume 360 controls are similar. the screenshots show that the Hole is always on screen, with a marker showing how far away it is from your current location.
