EA Announce Battlefield Bad Company 2 Has Sold Over 2.3 Million Units


EA Have announced that since the Launch of Battlefield Bad Company 2, the game has sold over 2.3 Million units. The game is also set to become the best selling March released game ever in both the USA and Europe. EA have also proudly announced that Battlefield Bad Company 2 has received a review score of over 90 from 46 different outlets.

EA have released some statistics for Battlefield Bad Company 2:
• 81B points have been earned in online multiplayer sessions
• 43M weapons and gadgets have been unlocked in online multiplayer
• Over 6M video views on YouTube
• 2.9M hours have been spent playing online in the last 24 hours alone
• 230K peak-concurrent-users (PCUs)
• Over 44k Twitter fans (most out of any EA title)

Codemasters have announced International Cricket 2010 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and that its coming out this summer. International Cricket 2010 is being produced by the team behind last years Ashes Cricket 2009, Trickstar Games.

International Cricket 2010 will feature an all new Action Cam which adds action and intensity, compared to the traditional broadcast views. Batting gets a new Power Stick which adds 360° analogue power and direction control, giving the player a wider selection of shots to choose from.

The game features a complete player editor which will enable gamers to put themselves into the game. the game has the roster of 16 nations and 21 stadia from around the world. there are also new instant tournament game modes.

Sony Online Entertainment have released new screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming PSN game, Groovin Blocks. the screenshots and trailer are all from in-game footage and show in-game action.

Groovin Blocks has over 50 levels to play through, and 20 original songs. This is a game similar in style to Columns, but the main difference here is that your encouraged to destroy blocks in time to the beat. there are also powerups which can be unlocked as the player collects stars.

Codemasters have released a new Dev Dairy video for F1 2010. this video has devs talking about the game, ex F1 driver Anthony Davidson, and it also has unseen footage of F1 2010. The new footage from the game features 2009 cars but it is all from f1 2010. Pit lane crews, weather, various cars and tracks are all shown. The Devs talk about their love for F1, and briefly go through the many things that have been included in the game.
