Arrowhead And Paradox Announce PvP Comes To Magika On 21st June For Free

Arrowhead and Paradox have announced PvP, Player vs Player, is coming to Magicka for free from 21st June. this update will also bring a new arena, Havindir, and training grounds. also coming out on 21st June is a new map pack which includes maps for the challenge modes and for PvP. The PvP update brings Classic Deathmatch, Brawl Mode, and Kreitor mode to PvP.

At PvP launch, players will be able to wreak havoc in the Havindir Arena and Training Ground maps, and a new Reservoir wizard robe will be available (if you’re stuck being Pink, just remember that you know where the diamonds are).

Available for sale at PvP launch will be the all-new Final Frontier Map Pack, which will include the Vulcanus Arena for both Challenge and PvP modes (nerve pinch not included). As if that wasn’t enough, a chilling Frozen Lake map and a “stop staring at me, you’re freaking me out” Watch Tower map will also be available. Players will also be able to don new robes suited for the new PvP game modes- a tank robe, a support robe and rogue robe.

Classic Deathmatch:
Instead of accidentally zapping your companions, you kill them on purpose! It’s every wizard for himself as up to four physically inept beings duke it out in a one mage takes all battle.

Brawl mode:
In Brawl, each player/team only has a set number of lives, and the last ma…wizard standing wins. Just make sure your “friends” don’t squander those precious lives.

Kreitor mode:
A fiendish new mode named after a clever Magicka fan who modded the game, the round based Kreitor mode unlocks Magicks at special intervals during the match, forcing players to come up with new strategies as new spells become available.

THQ have announced they are bringing the uDraw Game Tablet to the PS3 and Xbox 360 this November. these new tablets features a stylus with greater sensitivity, HD Art, motion features, and touch screen abilities (pinch and stretch for example). these new tablets will come with new software called uDraw Studio: Instant Artist. this software will come with tutorials and will make it easier to share images online. What Have You Played This Week?

Whilst I have downloaded all my free games from the PSN and PlayStation Plus, I have yet to play any of them. But they're all ready and installed for when I'm free.

Football Manager 2010 – PC – first season in the premiership is still under way. I'm in early February and I look set to stay in the premiership, though I imagine it'll be a tense few months.

Pokèmon White – DS – I continued exploring but mostly I just did the online Pokèmon games and earned new Pokèmon that way. I now have access to the forest, sky, and sea.

Tiny Wings – iPhone 4 – I got a couple of games in. its a fun game and perfect for pick up and play.

Dalton – iPhone – as fun as this game has been. It does seem to cause some issues with Game Center.

GoGoGadget – iPhone – I have no unlocked the free Inspector Gadget theme song for my ringtone. There may only be a couple of levels in the game but each of them is very long, so long in fact that i've yet to get through the first one. This game has a lot of charm and a lot of unlockables that keep me going back to it.

Berzerk Ball – iPhone – This is a simple good looking game. All you have to do is hit a geek with a bat type thing. As the geek flies he hits insects, mines, and giant robots which propel him further. The aim is to get as far as possible which unlocks extra characters. Its a easy game to jump in for a few minutes and try to beat scores and buy better equipment.

Falling Fred – iPhone – This game looks great and is very easy to play. All you do is control Fred by moving the iPhone. But Fred is fairly large and obscures some of the screen so as you fall faster it starts to become difficult avoiding stuff and having decent control over him.

Puzzle Quest 2 – Xbox 360 – I Like popping back into the game now and then. I really enjoy it and now i've made my way into the Necromancers.

PAYDAY: The Heist is a first person shooter that lets you play in a team of 4, with the other characters being played by co-op mates or by computer Ai. the aim is to complete 6 bank heists, but with adaptive enemy AI, SWAT teams, and more it won't be easy. you have to choose a character speciality, assault, sharpshooter or support. as you earn more experience, you can unlock new weapons and more.

Sony Detail The Playstation Home Welcome Back Package And Reveal 2 Parts Are Out Now

Sony have detailed the Playstation Home welcome back package. Playstation Home users will get 100 free items, 2 personal spaces, and 1 exclusive game. the 100 virtual items and the 2 personal spaces are out now and can be accessed from the Central Plaza.

The free game is called Ooblag's Alien Casino. this game is set to come out later in the month and will be accessible from the Playstation Home Navigator. this game is multiplayer craps and by just accessing the casino, players will get an item version which means you can play the game in your personal space.

THQ Announce WWE 12 Is Coming To The Wii, PS3, And Xbox 360 On 22nd November

THQ Have Announce WWE 12, the sequel to Smackdown Vs Raw 2011, is coming to the PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 on 22nd November 2011. WWE 12 see's big changes to the series, beyond that of a name change. new game engine technology will see a more fluid, dynamic game. a new submission system, new attributes, and a new control layout have also been added to the game.

Minority have announced Papo & Yo for the PS3 PSN. this game is coming to the PSN 2012 and it is being supported by SCEA's Pub Fund. Papo & Yo is set in the South American Favelas and features Quico, a young boy, and Monster, Who's addicted to Frogs. When Monster eats a frog he transforms into an evil killing machine and its up to Quico to find a cure. Minority have released a in-game trailer below.

Konami have announced that to celebrate Frogger's 30th Anniversary, they are releasing Frogger 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. Coming This Autumn, Frogger 3D will come with familiar Game modes as well as some new twists and features. the game comes with over 60 stages, some are themed whilst others are 3D Cubes. Frogger will also have new friends that help him cross the roads or help him explore levels. Frogger 3D will come with a forever mode as well as 4 player multiplayer matches and StreetPass.
