thatgamecompany have announced Journey has become the fastest and best selling PSN game ever. they have also revealed they will be releasing the soundtrack to Journey on both the PSN and iTunes on 11th April. further in the future, there will be a limited CD release but more details on that will be revealed later.

thatgamecompany have announced Journey is set to come out on the USA PSN on 13th March and across the EU on 14th March. The game is set to cost $14.99 in the USA, EU Pricing has not yet been announced but i expect it to be around £15. thatgamecompany have also revealed that development on the game has finished.

thatgamecompany Detail The Invite Only Journey Beta Which Stars Tomorrow

Journey is getting a multiplayer beta. however, its a small beta that you can only get access to by invite. the beta will run from 28th June to 12th July. for a chance to get into the beta you have to be a Playstation Plus subscriber and had bought Fl0wer soon after its release. a few beta codes will be made available at the Playstation Blog, thatgamecompany facebook page and a few other areas. the main purpose for this beta is to test the games multiplayer network code. the online beta will run on Tuesdays from 6pm to 10pm PST.

The Beta will start in the USA and is detailed above. the Beta will come to europe and will be available to EU Beta Testers and selected Playstation Plus members. more details about the EU Part of the Beta will be revealed later.

thatgamecompany have released a new trailer for Journey. this trailer is an in-game trailer that shows 2 players interacting with each other. Journey's co-op nature hasn't been made that clear at the moment, but it's online co-op and you mostly help each other in the game world. the trailer also hints that the scarfs they wear are significant and the characters can glide a little due to the cloaks they wear. the trailer hints of events happening in the game, there's something jumping in and out of sand and lights coming out a mountain top.
