EA has released new screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming World Adventures expansion for The Sims 3. the screenshots show both the China location and different tombs. the trailer shows different aspects of the China location, martial arts, and treasure. it also mentions that the expansion features Egypt, China, and France locations.

EA Has announced the first Sims 3 expansion as Sims 3 World Adventures. The Expansion will allow players to take their Sims to famous locations across the world. Also, whilst in the city's, the Sims can learn new skills such a Martial Arts, from their stay in Shang Simla, or go on a romantic holiday in France whilst visiting the Champs Les Sims, or even explore the tombs of Al Simhara, in Egypt.

The Sims that you meet along the way can help the player discover new styles and cultures, and you can even bring them back with you. The photographs, movies and stories of your journey can be shared with the world.
The Expansion will also give the players 1,000 SimPoints to be used in the Sims 3 Store.

The Expansion currently has a release date of November 16th 2009.
