Blizzard Announce StarCraft II: Heart Of The Swam Expansion, Coming Out 12th March 2013


Blizzard have announced the first expansion for StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty will be coming out on 12th March 2013. Heart Of The Swarm will continue the story from where the game finished and it focuses on Kerrigan's quest to reunite the Swarm and get revenge. there are over 20 campaign missions and weapons of war.

Blizzard say the expansion will be available at retail and digitally from them. it will have a suggested retail price of £32.99 and will come to Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 and Macintosh.

Blizzard Entertainment have announced that StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty sold over 1 Million units in just 24 hours, and over 1.5 Million units in just 48 hours. This means StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty now holds the record for the fastest selling strategy game of all time.

GigaMedia Announce Its IAHGames Operation Is Releasing StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty In Southeast Asia

GigaMedia have revealed that theri IAHGames operation has partnered with Blizzard Entertainment to bring StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty to Southeast Asia. GigaMedia expects the Southeast Asia market to grow significantly and this partnership with Blizzard puts them in a great position to capture this growth. There will also be local servers for the game as well as local support in Southeast Asia, a first according to them.

Blizzard Entertainment have announced that there will be a Standard and Collectors Edition of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty when the game is released. The standard edition has a suggested retail price of $59.99 whilst the collectors edition will retail for $99.99.

StarCraft II Accessories Announced by SteelSeries


SteelSeries, a manufactourer of peripherals and accessories, has announced that they are releasing a series of gaming surfaces with art from StarCraft II. The pads are designed for mice with laser and optical tracking, and have a non slip rubber base.
They are set for a July 2009 release at Amazon.com and GameStop for $14.99.
