Timegate Have Released A Behind The Scenes Look At Section 8: Prejudice And Reveal Release Dates

Timegate Studios have announced Section 8: Prejudice comes to XBLA on 20th April for $15. a online release via Steam other other online distributors is on 4th May, whilst a PS3 release is set for Summer 2011. Timegate have also released 2 behind the scenes videos for Section 8: Prejudice. the first video focuses on Game Design whilst the second is on Story.

Sugar Land, TX - (April 6, 2011) TimeGate Studios announced release dates and loyalty rewards for Section 8: Prejudice, the year’s most robust $15 downloadable shooter. The game rolls out to Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on April 20, 2011; comes to Windows PC via online distributors, including Steam and Games for Windows Marketplace, on May 4, 2011; and hits the PlayStation®Network in Summer 2011.

Section 8: Prejudice features:

TimeGate also unveiled a loyalty rewards program for its dedicated Section 8 fans. TimeGate will unlock Section 8: Prejudice equipment upgrades for players of the original Section 8, based on the Level they attained as of April 20th, 2011. Anyone who played the original Section 8 will instantly unlock Aegis Armor and the Reactive Plating upgrade, while those who reached Level 25 will additionally unlock the Ablative Plating upgrade. The very dedicated players who attained Level 50 will also get the Explosives Amplifier upgrade. Provided players have not changed their Microsoft Gamertag or PlayStation®Network ID, the upgrades will be unlocked automatically.

TimeGate Studios Announce Section 8: Prejudice

TimeGate Studios have announced that they are making a sequel to Section 8 titled Section 8: Prejudice. No platforms have been announced as yet, but TimeGate do say the game is set to come out in early 2011. Section 8: Prejudice has been built with feedback on Section 8 in mind. the aim is to take what was popular from the first game and take the franchise further.

Section 8: Prejudice will have a single player campaign and will feature Captain Alex Corde and the 8th Armored Infantry, nicknamed Section 8. Section 8 are pursuing the last of the resistance but discover something more terrible. Multiplayer will make a return to Section 8: Prejudice, and the game will have more than 50 customizable weapons, tools, and upgrades.

Dubbed Section 8: Prejudice, the follow-up will expand on the dynamic first-person gameplay of the original by launching TimeGate’s futuristic IP to new heights.

As they cope with the fallout of the war with the Arm of Orion, Corde’s squad pursues the last of the resistance only to discover a mysterious new threat powerful enough to shake humanity to its core.

In addition to a brand new and lengthier story-driven campaign, Prejudice delivers a one-of-a-kind multiplayer experience that gives players unprecedented tactical control over ever-changing team-based combat.
