Sony Have Released New Screenshots And A Trailer For TV Superstars

Sony have released new screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming Playstation Move game, TV Superstars. The trailer shows off each of the games mini-games, Lets Get Physical, Frockstar, Big Eat Kitchen, and make your own Commercials. The screenshots and trailer both show in-game action from both of these.

Sega Announce Yakuza 4 Is Coming Out In The USA And EU In Spring 2011

Sega have announced that Yakuza 4 is coming out exclusively on the Playstation 3 in the USA and EU in Spring 2011. In this game you get to play as Kiryu Kazuma’s as well as three other characters, each with their own experiences, backstory, and plot. Sega have released new screenshots for the game as well as the poster used in this title.

Sony have released a new Playstation Move developer diary. this developer diary is with the team working on TV Superstars. new in-game footage is shown, as well as what movements players will make. they discuss how the game grows as your character becomes more popular. they also discuss how they use the 3D space aspect of the controller, and compare how its better than the Wii which just points.

Sony Have Released A New developer diary for Playstation Move. this developer diary focuses on EyePet. In this diary, Nicolas Doucet talks about the benefits of using the Playstation Move and how EyePet utilizes it. he also shows the game being played with both a Playstation Move and a human hand. Nicolas also talks on how EyePet evolved from the PS2 EyeToy games as well as some of the things that can be only done on a PS3.

Behemoth Detail Team Arena In The Playstation 3 Version Of Castle Crashers

Behemoth have detailed the exclusive Playstation 3 game mode in Castle Crashers. Team Arena lets players play either 2-on-2 or 1-v-3. The game does support Voice Chat, and the games main campaign mode does support 4 player co-op. Behemoth also reveal that the game is currently being tested for bugs before they send it to Sony for final approval.


Behemoth have also released a video and screenshots of this mode. both are in-game, the video shows a few stages as well as a couple of menu screens, whilst the screenshots just show some of the stages and fighting.

Sony Announce The Playstation 3 MLB.TV App is Coming Out Today In The USA

Sony have announced that MLB.TV is coming to the Playstation 3 today in the USA. This new MLB.TV App is a free download that allows subscribers to MLB.TV to keep up to date with all the MLB matches, the ability to watch home or away feeds from a match, and the ability to watch matches from earlier in the season. For people who don't subscribe to MLB.TV, some features like calendar will only be accessible. Sony have also released a video, embedded below, which shows the features of the app.

App Features Include:
* MLB Scoreboard – See a schedule of today’s games (and set options to control whether or not you see the scores)
* Home and Away Feeds – Choose to watch either the home or away broadcast feed
* HD quality video and DVR functionality – watch a live game in HD (with Live Game DVR functionality that lets you pause and rewind live games of fast-forward back to live game action)
* Season Archive – Want to re-live a great moment? Go back and watch games you’ve missed from earlier in the season.
* Scrollable Linescore – Go directly to any half-inning to watch only that portion of the game.
* Favorite Teams/Calendar Schedule – Scroll through the entire 2010 Major League Baseball schedule in calendar format or designate your favorite team(s) to see the schedule for that team.

Sony Announce Playstation 3 Firmware 3.30 And Its Out Now

Sony have revealed Playstation 3 firmware 3.30 and it is out now. this is a mandatory update that prepares the Playstation 3 for the future 3D game update, and it also brings enhancements to trophies. The Enhancements are:
  • Trophy enhancements –- Now you can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]
  • Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
  • Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
  • Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)

Capcom Announce Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes Is Coming To The Wii And Playstation 3

Capcom have announced that Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes is coming out on the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 later this year. Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes is being produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the producer from Devil May Cry 4. the game is set during the battle of Sekigahara in Japan. The game also features a Heroes Story mode where the decisions of the player will change history and the games story mode.

Sony Have Released A New Playstation Move Developer Diary For Motion Fighter

Sony have released a new developer diary for the Playstation Move. This diary focuses on Motion Fighter. the main thing revealed is Motion Fighter is now called "The Fight: Lights Out" and the game is currently at an alpha stage of development, around 20% complete. More of The Fight: Lights Out will be shown at E3.

the developer diary uses footage of someone using the Playstation Move, and in-game footage from The Fight: Lights Out of characters responding to the motion controls. The Diary is hosted by The Fight: Lights Out producer, John Mclaughlin, and he describes all Playstation Move's Advantages and how they are reflected in The Fight: Lights Out, whilst describing issues with other motion control devices and fighting games.

Sony Announce Heavy Rain Has Sold Over 1 Million Units

Sony have officially announced that Heavy Rain has sold over 1 million units worldwide. David Cage, writer and director of Heavy Rain had this to say:

EA Announce The Skate 3 Demo Is Coming To Xbox Live And PSN On 15th April


EA Have announced that a Skate 3 demo is coming to Xbox Live and the Playstation Network on 25th April. The demo will include the University District in the Port Carverton. the demo will also have singleplayer and multiplayer challenges. The Demo will also come with Skate.School, and gamers will also be able to personalise the University District by dropping 24 different objects into it. The Demo will also come with the Replay Editor and users will be able to upload these to Skate.Reel.

Sony Announce New Greatest Hits Titles Are Out Now In The USA

Sony have announced that 10 new titles have been added to the Greatest Hits Playstation 3 range. these titles will be coming out over the next few weeks for $29.99 in the USA.

Sony Announce Optional Firmware 3.21 Will Disable "Install Other OS" On Original Playstation 3's


Sony have announced that the upcoming 3.21 firmware update for Playstation 3's will remove the "install Other OS" feature from the original Playstation 3's (PS3's that look like the left model in the picture), Not the Slim Models as they don't have this feature. this update is optional, but those who decide against installing the update will not be able to:
  • Ability to sign in to PlayStation Network and use network features that require signing in to PlayStation Network, such as online features of PS3 games and chat.
  • Playback of PS3 software titles or Blu-ray Disc videos that require PS3 system software version 3.21 or later.
  • Playback of copyright-protected videos that are stored on a media server (when DTCP-IP is enabled under Settings).
  • Use of new features and improvements that are available on PS3 system software 3.21 or later.
Sony have also warned that any information on the Other OS partition on the HDD will not be accessible so users will have to backup any files before updating their consoles.

TimeGate Announce Section 8 Is Coming Out Today In The USA For $29.99 On The PSN

TimeGate Studios have confirmed that Section 8 is coming out on the PS3 today in the USA for $29.99. TimeGate have also announced that gamers can download TGNServer from FilePlanet. TGNServer will allow gamers to host 32 Player Playstation 3 games using their Home PC's.

This Playstation 3 version Of Section 8 features many improvements over the previous PC and Xbox 360 versions. the game has improved matchmaking and better graphics, and it also comes with 11 maps.

Sony Announce Fat Princess Patch1.05 Is Out Today And It Brings 2 New Maps

Sony have announced Patch 1.05 for Fat Princess on the Playstation and announced that the patch is coming out today. As well as bug fixes, this patch also adds 2 new maps to the game. these maps are snow themed and are called Frost Bite and Candy Mountain.

Bug Fixies
* Warrior: Fixed to disallow shield activation when carrying objects, as well as attenuating damage against lava and drowning.
* Ice Mage: Changed level 1 area attack to slow enemies, not freeze them.
* Soccer map: Disabled online score saving for this level (sorry, all, but it was too easy to gain rank).

Engadget Have Released New GamePlay And Dev Chat Videos For Playstation Move

Engadget recently had a Engadget Show where the main focus was on the Playstation Move. there were live demos and some never before seen demos for the Playstation move. I Have included videos of these demos in the break.
However, Engadget have released some new videos of the Playstation move that were taken after the show. they played a couple of games from Move Party as well as having a indepth chat about Move, about people behind Move, how devs are using Move to make games, and some of the things that they want Move to be used for.

Sony Announce Facebook Story Publishing Is Coming To Buzz! Quiz World

Sony has announced that Buzz! Quiz World will get Facebook support. You will be able to publish information about your Buzz! Quiz World games to Facebook. all gamers need to do is Sync your PSN Account to your Facebook account, via account management menu on the XMB. The Game will prompt players if they want to publish game information and won't publish a story without permission.

TikGames Announce Hamsterball For The PSN

TikGames have announced Hamsterball for the PSN. Hamsterball is a Marble Madness/Super Monkey Ball style game that is coming out his week in the USA for $9.99. Hamsterball has 3 different Hamsters to play as, each with their own unique abilities, and mode where 7 players can play against each other.

TikGames have also revealed that there are plans for DLC and Editors for Hamsterball. the game does not use SixAxis, instead it uses first person shooter controls to steer the Hamsters. The game is a 1080p and TikGames have revealed that some of the levels are from the PC version of Hamsterball as well as 35 new levels.

Sony Announce The God Of War Trilogy And Its Set For UK Release On 30th April For £64.99

Sony has revealed the God Of War Trilogy. This Collection features both the remastered God Of War I and II as well as the recently released God Of War III. This Trilogy is set for release at the same time as the God Of War Collection and has a suggested price of €89.99/£64.99.
