Square Enix Detail Upcoming Halloween Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Event And More

Square Enix have revealed some details on upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn events and features. first up is this years Halloween event, it runs from 18th October to 1st November and it's All Saints' Wake. the streets of Eorzea cities will be decked with ceremonial lanterns and there'll be costumes, a travelling circus, and a special quest.

Coming 21st October is the World Transfer Service. this will be free and it'll let you move your character to another world. instructions will be in your Mog Station.

Coming later this year is Patch 2.1 and it will bring the Wolves Den PvP Battles, new housing, a new Primal Battle, new dungeons, treasure hunting, hard mode boss battles, beastmen daily quests and The Crystal Tower. more specific details on this patch will be revealed at a later date.







In November is the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII special event. from 14th November, you can undertake special FATE Events with Lightning and get Final Fantasy XIII themed gear and weapons. Square Enix have teased a future event which celebrates Final Fantasy XI whilst Japan will celebrate Dragon Quest X's first year.

Square Enix Announce The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PS4 Beta Starts 22nd February, PS3 Gamers Can Migrate For Free


Square Enix have announced the PS4 beta for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will start on 22nd February. this date has been confirmed for Japan and the USA So far but i expect it to be true for the EU. Square Enix have also announced that PS3 gamers who have Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn can bring their character to the PS4 version of the game at no extra cost (you still have to pay the monthly fee). More Information about this process will be released at a later date.

Square Enix Have Released A 9 Minute Trailer For Final Fantasy XIV Showcasing Several Dungeons, Music And Monsters

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn. this 9 minute trailer showcases several dungeons, i think they are higher level dungeons, and uses in-game footage to show monsters and to provide samples of the soundtracks for each location. the trailer ends with a tease of your main enemy.

Square Enix Have Released A New Trailer And Screenshots For Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Announce It's Coming To PS4

Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2014. they say they are working with Sony to ensure those who play the game on PS3 can bring all their items/game information over to the PS4 version of the game. 

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, showing some of the important characters in the game, some of the different races and jobs you can play as. the video also shows some in-game action and different locations.

Square Enix Announce Next Phase Of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Starts 14th June, Includes PS3 For First Time


Square Enix have announced the next phase of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta will start on 14th June. this will be a closed beta where fans can apply for a chance to get involved. this phase will also be the first time the PS3 version of the game is playable and PS3 gamers will be playing alongside PC gamers.

Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Comes To PS3 And PC On 27th August, Monthly Subscription Of £7.69 / €10.99


Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn comes to PS3 and PC on 27th August. Square Have confirmed that the PS3 version of the game cannot be played on the 12GB SSD version, the game needs to install to a HDD as the SSD isn't big enough. Square Enix have also revealed the subscription cost, it's £7.69 / €10.99 a month.

Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Comes Out On PC And PS3 This Summer

Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is coming out this summer on both PS3 and PC. users on each platform can play against each other. Square Enix have also confirmed that the third  closed beta for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn starts in June, this Beta will include for the first time PlayStation 3 players and PC players together.

Square Enix Have Opened Beta Sign Ups For Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Beta Starts 25th February

Square Enix have announced that phase 1 of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta starts on 25th February. they are now accepting sign up's for the beta. Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be PC only, with the PS3 beta starting with Phase 3. Phase 1 is only available at certain hours a day. this will increase each Phase of the Beta. each character created up until Phase 4 is not saved, meaning a new character is created each time.

Square Enix Have Released The Prolouge Video For Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. the first part of the video shows how Final Fantasy XIV ended, and was previously released, and continues with the start of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.



Square Enix have also launched the Beta site for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, letting players register their interest.

Square Enix Have Released Some Details On Final Fantasy XIV Content Not Carried Over Into A Realm Reborn

Square Enix have revealed that some Final Fantasy XIV content is not going to be carried over into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. a large number of these are in-game achievements which are detailed one by one in the link. other things include the Gobbue Horn, Guild Marks, both of which are not carried over into A Realm Reborn. Square say nearly all the cutscenes in the game have been reworked and they are working on a way in-which your achievement details will be viewable as character histories and not via the Lodestone.

Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, A Redesigned Final Fantasy XIV Coming To PC And PS3

Square Enix have detailed the future for Final Fantasy XIV. the game is already out on PC and is still set to come out on PS3. this 2.0 update, as it has previously been called, offers a re-branded Final Fantasy XIV. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been built from the ground up from Final Fantasy XIV and focuses on rebirth, it has a whole new world and storyline to explore. Square have relaunched the website and encourage fans to get in touch via Facebook and the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn forums. they have also released this new Cinematic trailer for the game.

Square Enix have released a new trailer for the upcoming MMO, Final Fantasy XIV. this is nearly the same trailer that was shown at Sony's E3 press conference. it shows alot of the in-game world and the different species and character classes. the trailer also shows some "epic" moments, whether its huge monsters, landscapes, or summons.
