EA Has Released New Screenshots For Battlefield Bad Company 2

EA has released new screenshots for Battlefield Bad Company 2. they appear to be in-game, but not from actual gameplay. they show a few of the soldiers in the game and some of the weapons and battlefields.

EA Announces The Playstation 3 Exclusive Battlefield Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Beta Will Start November 19th

EA and Dice have announced that there will be a Multiplayer Beta for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and it will be exclusively on the Playstation 3.

The Beta will start on November 19th and feature the Arica Harbour Map. this map is a 24 player map, and the only mode available will be Rush. The two teams are the Americans and the Russians, and the objective is to take over the Russian Base. there will be vehicles available.

A PC open Beta will start in December and early next year a 360 Multiplayer Demo will be released.

EA Reveal Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition Information, Boxart, Trailer, And Screenshots

EA has revealed the Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition. they also released a trailer for this announcement and the boxart for the limited edition. they also released new screenshots for the game. The Limited Edition comes out in N.America on March 2 2010 and March 5th in Europe. it should cost the same as the standard edition.

The Limited Edition version of Battlefield Bad Company 2 will provide gamers with 6 special unlocked items. there are 4 vehicle Unlocks:
  • Improved Vehicle Armor – An up-armor package is mounted on all vehicle types, decreasing the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
  • Supreme Vehicle Firepower – Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
  • Vehicle Motion Sensor – Use this electronics warfare package to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
  • Tracer Dart Pistol – This magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allowing squad members to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight.

And 2 Battlefield 1943 Weapons:
  • M1A1 Submachine Gun – Reliable but heavy this classic weapon is a powerful force in the hands of any Battlefield veteran.

EA Announce That Battlefield Heroes has 2 Million Registered Players And Heroes Of The Fall Update


EA Has announced that their free to play online PC game, Battlefield Heroes, now has 2 million registered users. in celebration of this milestone, EA have also announced that on September 30th, They will release a free update to the game called Heroes Of The Fall.
Heroes Of The Fall brings to the game a new map. it will be a infantry focuses map, set in a village in autumn. the village has bridges, alleyways and channels that can be used to sneak on the enemy. the update also brings other upgrades to the game including upgrades to the Gunner class and improvements to the friends system.

EA Has annoucned that Battlefield 1943 has broken Download Only records on Xbox Live Arcade and American Playstation Network for day 1 sales and also week 1 sales. with PSn and XBLA combined, the game has sold over 600,000 copies.
