Feral Interactive Announce XCOM: Enemy Unknown Elite Edition Comes To Macs On 25th April


Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing Firaxis and 2K's XCOM: Enemy Unknown to Macs on 25th April. the game will be coming out at retail and digitally for $49.99, £34.99, €44.99. This Elite edition of the game includes the Slingshot and Elite Soldier Pack add-ons and the Second Wave Update.



Minimum system requirements:
2.0GHz Intel Mac
4.0GB RAM
256MB or better graphics card
Mac OS 10.7.5 or later. 

The game does not support the following graphics cards: 
ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, Intel GMA series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and NVIDIA 8xxx series. 

The following graphics cards require 8GB of system RAM:
Intel HD3000, NVIDIA 9400 and NVIDIA 320M.

Feral Interactive today announced that the award-winning strategy game XCOM®: Enemy Unknown will be released for the Mac on Thursday, April 25th. Developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K for PC and consoles, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a re-imagining of the ground breaking classic X-COM: UFO Defense (1994).

XCOM: Enemy Unknown expands on the X-COM legacy with an entirely new story, enemies and technologies to fight hostile aliens and defend Earth. InXCOM: Enemy Unknown, players oversee combat strategies and individual unit tactics, as well as base management and resource allocation while playing as the commander of a secret global military organization, XCOM. With equal emphasis on deep strategy and intense tactical combat, XCOM: Enemy Unknown allows gamers to control the fate of the human race by defending against a terrifying global alien invasion.

The Mac release of XCOM: Enemy Unknown is the Elite Edition, and includes the Slingshot and Elite Soldier Pack add-on content, as well as the Second Wave update, which includes a series of gameplay modifiers that add further depth and flexibility to the campaign. The game will include LAN and online multiplayer modes.
