6th, 2011 - GAMEVIL®, a leading mobile games publisher and
developer, announced its smash-hit casual game Air Penguin is now
available for free on the Android Market. It is developed by Enterfly
Inc. as part of the GAMEVIL Partner Fund.
Players will guide Air Penguin through the icy South Pole using simple multi-directional tilt controls, made possible with the accelerometer in Android devices. Air Penguin will bounce through most of his journey but when he gains speed he can slide down the ice and then take off for a glide through the air. While dodging around hazards like thin ice, stubborn seals, prickly swordfish and angry sharks, other creatures such as turtles and whales can give a ride or another boost on his path.
The endless Survival mode will mix things up for a fresh challenge, or items can be used to help get through over 120 stages of Story mode as Air Penguin ventures to save his family from melting ice caps. Air Penguin is topped off with graphics optimized for high-resolution displays, leaderboards and score-posting to Twitter and Facebook, extra unlockable character skins and more. Easy to pick up but hard to put down, Air Penguin reached the #1 spot in numerous countries and garnered millions of downloads from international fans since its release. Now Android fans can join the worldwide phenomenon for free.
