Sony Announce Full Restoration Of The PSN Will Come This Week

Sony have announced that the PSN will be fully restored this week. this means the following will be coming:

• Full functionality on PlayStation Store
• In-game commerce
• Ability to redeem vouchers and codes
• Full functionality on Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and
other PCs
• Full functionality on Media Go

This restoration will come to the Americas, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, excluding Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea by the end of this week. The reason for the Japanese delay appears to be due to the government needing Sony to comply with their instructions on security. No actual date for this restoration has been given, but it has been rumoured that the PSN will be down later today for maintenance and when it is turned back on on Wednesday full restoration will have occurred.
