Sony Have Released A New Gameplay Dev Video For Table Football/Soccer, A Augmented Reality PS Vita Game

Sony have released a new video for Table Football (Table Soccer in the USA). this video features a member of the dev team and Jeff Rubenstein playing the game. they show how you can use AR Cards to make the field big or small and how the PSV can remember the cards on the table if you need to zoom in on to the field. the video also provides some gameplay tips and talks about multiplayer possibilities.

Nintendo have announced the Netflix channel is out now in the UK and Ireland for free from the Wii Shop Channel. subscription to Netflix starts from £5.99. as well as movies, Netflix offers TV Shows, including shows from BBC.

Sony Announce XOS College Sports and SEC Digital Network Apps Are Coming To The USA PSN From Today


Sony have announced College Sports are coming to the PS3. XOS College Sports and SEC Digital Network apps are coming to the PSN Store from today in the USA. Sony have provided some details on the XOS App:

  • Pre-game analysis from the XOS Digital Studio during the week
  • Post-game highlights immediately after the game as well as a “Game of the Week” extended highlight
  • Full games are available to purchase and watch the next day
  • Classic games and documentaries dating back to the 1950’s
  • Free daily programming including “SEC Today,” “SEC In The Paint,” “Game Day Central,” and weekly coaches teleconferences

Microsoft Announce Kinect For Windows Is Coming To 12 Countries From 1st February For $249


Microsoft have announced Kinect for Windows, the PC Version of Kinect, is set to come out across 12 countries on 1st February. these countries are United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom. The suggested retail price is $249. Hardware will be limited at first, but it will become available through a variety of resellers and distributors. 

Later in 2012, Microsoft have announced Kinect for Windows will offered to Qualified Educational Users at special academic pricing, planned to be around $149. Microsoft have released this new Kinect trailer showing how the device has evolved from a gaming peripheral to how it can be used on PC.

Kinect for Windows has been specially designed and therefore has some unique features. the USB cable will be shortened and the cameras and sensors have been designed to see objects as close as 50cm away. this is called Near Mode.
