Sony Have Released A Video Showing The History Of Augmented Reality And Playstation

Sony have released a new video showing the history of Augmented Reality on the Playstation 2, Playstation Portable, Playstation 3, and the upcoming NGP (PSP2). the video shows action and prototypes of several Augmented Reality Games, with a focus on the bigger successes on each platform. its revealed that using a camera on the PS2 happened nearly by accident, they were just seeing what would happen if you attached one to a PS2. they talk about how with more power they're able to use it in different ways, with the PS3 its Playstation Move and with the PSP2 its using Augmented Reality without cards. There is, through most of the video, a dig at Nintendo as Sony do say they did it first and they do Augmented Reality best.

Disgaea 4 is a sequel to Disgaea, a hardcore, turn-based strategy RPG popular on the PlayStation®2 and PlayStation®3. In Disgaea, character units have a limit on their movement and attack ranges, based on their level and weapons equipped. There are other special game factors that let you take advantage of the 3D battle maps, many of which are unique to Disgaea.
As the 4th installment in the series, Disgaea 4 adopts an all-new graphic engine with a far greater emphasis on anime-style graphics and adopts many new game systems to make this the most epic Disgaea adventure yet!
