Sony Announce A New January Sale On The EU PSN That Runs Until 2nd February


Sony have announced a new PSN sale starting on 19th January. this sale will run from the 19th January until the 2nd February. Sony have also teased there's some news regarding Playstation Mini's coming and its the reason why there's no Mini's in this sale.

Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XIII-2 For The PS3 And Xbox 360


Square Enix held a 1st Production Division event in Japan. at this event, Producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed Final Fantasy XIII-2, a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and comes out in Japan in 2011. the EU release date has been put at Winter. Square Enix have released 1 screenshots, shown below, which shows Lightning wearing new clothes and possibly holding a shield.

Nintendo Announce You Can Watch The Nintendo 3DS Event From Amsterdam Live


Nintendo UK have announced that European gamers will be able to watch the Nintendo 3DS event from Amsterdam Live. the event will be streamed at http://live.nintendo3ds.nintendo-europe.com/ on 19th January at 2PM GMT/3PM CET

PopCap Announce Bejeweled Blitz Is Coming To Xbox Live Arcade In Q1 2011

PopCap have announced that Bejeweled Blitz is coming to the Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade during Q1 2011. this version of Bejeweled Blitz will feature the same 60 second gameplay found in the Facebook version of the game but there will also be several new features. new features include 16 player simultaneous Party Mode, Head To Head Battle Mode, HD Graphics, Real Time Leaderboards, and Friendscore where you combine your score with your friends and try to get the highest weekly total.

Nintendo USA have detailed the games coming out on the WiiWare and DSiWare stores. there are no Virtual Console releases this week but there is a new WiiWare demo. in all there are 2 WiiWare and 4 DSiWare games coming out.

WiiWare

Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time
This is a 1 player only game that cvosts 1,000 Wii Points. you use the items you find to invent new machines, from catapults to flying machines. you travel through time with Doc Clock as you battle mad robots as you try to save your cat.


Urbanix
This is a 1-2 player game that costs 500 Wii Points. you have to build a town in an empty field. there are enemies to avoid and several locations to play in.
