This Weeks WiiWare, DSiWare, And Virtual Console Releases

Here are this weeks USA WiiWare, DSiWare, and Virtual Console Releases. these games were released yesterday, Monday, in the USA. in all there are 6 games released, 1 on Virtual Console, 2 on WiiWare, and 3 on DSiWare.

Virtual Console

Aero The Acrobat 2
This is a 1 player game that costs 800 Wii Points. This is the Super NES version of the game. you play as Aero The Acro-Bat who is trying to stop Edgar Ektor and his criminal plot called Plan B. the game has 45 levels, hidden chambers and bonus levels.


WiiWare

Triple Throwing Sports
This is a 1-2 player game that costs 500 Wii Points. this game features Javelin, Discus, Shot Put, and Hammer events.


The Very Hungry Caterpillar's ABCs
This is a 1 player game that costs 800 Wii Points. this is an educational game based on the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. it helps teach basic english, colours, numbers, animal names, verbs and adjectives.


DSiWare

Nintendo Countdown Calendar
This is a 1 player only game that costs 200 DSi Points. This is a calender app that lets you add your own events.


GO Series 10 Second Run
This is a 1 player only game that costs 200 DSi Points. this is a platform game where you take control of a stick man and have to run across a level and make it to the end within 10 seconds. there are 50 stages and 3 game modes.


Everyday Soccer
This is a 1-2 player game that costs 500 DSi Points. this is a soccer/football game. you can create and customise your characters and their strips. you can play against friends via DS Download Play.

Sony Announce Firmware 3.50 Is Out Now

Sony have announced that Firmware 3.50 is out now. you will need 170MB of free space on either the PS3 or USB Stick. The Announced features in Firmware 3.50 are:
  • Blu-ray 3D disc playback
  • You can now submit grief reports if you receive unwelcome or harassing messages.
  • You can now access public information on Facebook from Facebook-supported games.
As with many Playstation 3 Firmware updates, there have been other small changes. So far, the main changes that have been found include:

Sega Have Released New Screenshots For Sonic Colours On The Wii And DS

Sega has released new screenshots for Sonic Colours on both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. both sets of screenshots are in-game, with the Wii screenshots showing 2 player action and a new under water level. The Nintendo DS Screenshots are also from the DS version of the under water level.
