Sony Online Entertainment Reveal Destiny of Velious Is The Next Expansion For EverQuest II


Sony Online Entertainment have revealed the next expansion for EverQuest II is Destiny Of Velious. this expansion follows on from the events of Sentinels Fate where the the twin Swords of Destiny, Soulfire and the Qeynos Claymore, have been drained of their powers, setting the stage for the destruction of the EverQuest universe. to save Norrath, the swords need to be restored. EverQuest II is Destiny Of Velious is set to come out on 11th February 2011.

EA Reveal Landon Donovan And Carlos Vela Are On The Cover For FIFA 11 In The USA

EA have announced that Landon Donovan and Carlos Vela are on the cover for FIFA 11, otherwise known as FIFA Soccer 11 in the USA. they both will be joined by Kaka, who is on the boxart for FIFA 11 in all territories.

(NASDAQ:ERTS) announced today that Los Angeles Galaxy star Landon Donovan has been chosen for the cover of EA SPORTSTM FIFA Soccer 11. The 28-year-old American soccer hero will join Real Madrid’s Kaka and Arsenal’s Carlos Vela on the front cover of FIFA Soccer 11 in the United States and Canada when it is available in retail stores September 28.

Donovan started for the U.S. Men’s National Team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South AfricaTM, scoring three goals in four matches, including a thrilling injury time goal in a 1–0 win over Algeria, leading the USA to win their group for the first time since 1930. Donovan also enjoyed an outstanding 2009 campaign, winning Major League Soccer’s Most Valuable Player award for the first time and MLS Goal of the Year 2009 while leading the Galaxy to the MLS Cup. This season Donovan has scored 5 goals and 11 assists in 13 games for LA.

Donovan is appearing on the cover of the most popular* sports video game franchise in the world for the third time. He was also on the cover of FIFA Soccer 2003 and FIFA Soccer 07 in North America. This is the first appearance for Kaka and Vela.

Codemasters Have Released New Colin McRae: Dirt 3 Screenshots

Codemasters have released new screenshots for Colin McRae: Dirt 3. These screenshots are in-game and show off the variety of tracks and cars in the game. there are older cars, like the Mini and Audi, as well as tracks set in woods, tarmac, and even a stadium esq event held in Monaco. The screenshots also show some of the weather effects in the game, not just on the tracks but also on the cars.

Nintendo Reveal Its GamesCom 2010 Line-Up


Nintendo has revealed the games they are bringing to this years GamesCom. As well as games, Nintendo have revealed that Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, will be at the show as with all the Mario games from the Wii and DS. Tim Feldner will also be at the Nintendo Booth providing fun and excitement.

Playing as Samus, players will seamlessly switch between third-person and first-person gameplay for the first time in a Metroid game. Donkey Kong is back and this time Diddy Kong not only joins the quest, but for the first time the franchise features the availability for two people to play together at the same time - one as Donkey Kong and one as Diddy Kong.
