The EU Playstation Blog have revealed this weeks PSP Digital Comic Store update. it has also been revealed that there are over 1,000 comics available in the store now.

Square Enix Europe Reveal Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Square Enix Europe have announced that Crystal Dynamics are developing Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The game will be released via a digital download in 2010, but no information regarding platform was provided. The press release doesn't mention why the game has dropped "Tomb Raider" from its title.

Crystal Dynamics, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light, a new game developed by Crystal Dynamics, which will be released via digital download in 2010.

“This is a really exciting project for Crystal Dynamics, we have created something completely new and very different to what people might be expecting,” said Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics.

“Lara Croft is such an iconic character in videogames, with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light we have created what we believe is a truly original digital experience.”

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be shown strictly “behind closed doors” at this year’s Game Developers Conference beginning on March 9th.

Crystal Dynamics is an award-winning studio located in San Francisco. Founded in 1992, the studio has created and developed key game franchises such as: Legacy of Kain, Pandemonium, Gex and most recently the Tomb Raider series.

Codemasters Announce Race Driver:GRID Reloaded Is Coming Out On The PS3 In The UK On 12th March.

Codemasters have announced that Race Driver:GRID is coming to the Playstation 3 Platinum Games Range as Race Driver:GRID Reloaded. Race Driver:GRID Reloaded is set to come out on 12th March in the UK, and 11th March in other PAL Countries, for £24.99.

Race Driver:GRID Reloaded comes with DLC codes for £10 worth of content. The 2 DLC packs are the Prestige Pack and 8 Ball Pack, both of these packs are already available for download for players with Race Driver:GRID.

The new Prestige Pack introduces the beautifully realised, legendary Australian Bathurst circuit and 10 of the planet’s most desirable cars, including the Ferrari F430 GTC, Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari F575 GTC. Gamers can also get behind the wheel of the Mercedes SLR McLaren 722, Lotus 2-Eleven, Lamborghini Gallardo GT, Mazda Furai, Jaguar XKR GT3, Honda Integra Type-R (DC5) and Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

The 8 Ball Pack delivers eight superb high performance new cars to drive in the game’s ‘Race Day’ mode and online races. New featured cars include the McLaren F1 GTR, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Honda S2000, Nissan GT-R (S-G2008), VW Nardo, Pontiac Firebird and the Volvo C30. New Zero Punctuation - BioShock 2

This weeks Zero Punctuation is on BioShock 2. could the return to Rapture be enough for Yahtzee to like this game, or could this be just another unnecessary sequel?




Halfbrick Reveal Upcoming Mini's Title "Rocket Racing"

Halfbrick have revealed their upcoming Mini's game Rocket Racing. this game is set for release in Europe on 11th March and it will be compatible with both the PS3 and PSP. the game will cost €4.99/£3.99.Rocket Racing is a top down futuristic racing game.

The tracks have been designed with a unique twist and are set in different locations. The game has Challenge Modes, Grand Prix modes, and Party Modes. The game also has a unique game mechanic where you grind the vehicles rockets against the outer walls of the tracks to get a speed boost. Halfbrick have released screenshots for Rocket Racing that appear to be in-game and show in-game action from a variety of tracks as well as the grinding mechanic.
