343 Industries Reveal Patch Notes For First Halo 4 Patch

343 Industries have released the patch notes for the first Halo 4 Patch. the changlist includes:

• Implemented general stability improvements
• Fixed glitch where quickly reloading after firing the Boltshot resulted in an instant reload
• Fixed glitch where sprinting prior to activating the Hardlight Shield allowed players to move faster
• Fixed glitch were players could throw a grenade and then immediately sprint afterwards to perform a high velocity grenade
• Fixed glitch where Mantis could fire more rockets without reloading if the machine gun was fired partway through unleashing the charged missile barrage
• Fixed issue where DLC was unavailable for other profiles on the same console
• Fixed issue where DLC disappeared after console reboot
• Fixed issue where players could not unlock Campaign completion achievements when using a rally point other than Alpha for any mission to finish the Campaign
• Fixed issue where players were not given credit for completion of a Spartan Ops Episode Difficulty Challenge when completing it through Matchmaking
• Fixed issue where players with 99 or more Xbox LIVE friends could not get File recommendations
• Fixed issue where loadout configurations were lost if the game was booted and then powered off before passing the “Press START” screen
• Fixed issue where attempting to upload large films to the File Share under poor network conditions caused the upload to fail
• Improved time to load variants with separate profiles
• Fixed issue where moving a profile from one controller port to another after relaunching the game reset loadout settings
• Improved consistency of random ordnance navigation marker display
• Fixed performance issues when launching Halo Waypoint from Halo 4

Square Enix have released a new Japanese trailer for Dragon Quest X. this is for the Wii U version of the game and shows the 5 main playable races in the game.


Namco Bandai And FromSoftware Announce Dark Souls II For PS3, Xbox 360 And PC

FromSoftware and Namco Bandai have announced Dark Souls II for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.  Dark Souls II features a new hero, a new storyline and an unfamiliar world. the famed server based multiplayer is back, and the team say they want to create a game that creates a fresh experience whilst not forsaking the roots of Dark Souls.

GungHo Online Entertainment America Announce Dokuro And Ragnarok Odyssey Come To EU PSN This December


GungHo Online Entertainment America have announced they are bringing both Dokuro and Ragnarok Odyssey to the EU this December. 

Dokuro is a mix of a sidecroller, platformer and puzzle game. the game uses both front and back touch screens. the main character is Dokuro and he is out to save his princess, he can change into two forms, each with their own skills and features. Dokuro was developed in Japan by GungHo Online Entertainment.

Ragnarok Odyssey is a quest based RPG and is set in the Ragnarok Online Universe. this RPG is more an action based game than Ragnarok Online game. you can create your character from over 20,000 possible combinations and 6 classes. the game world is open world and you have to explore it. the world is full of other human characters and giants, but you don't have to play alone as the game supports ad-hoc. Ragnarok Odyssey was developed in Japan between Game Arts and GungHo Online Entertainment.

Sony Announce Spyro 1, 2 and 3 Come To The EU PSN Store Next Week, 60hz And PS Vita Compatible

Sony have announced the PS1 games Spyro, Spyro 2 and Spyro 3 are coming to the EU PSN next week. these games are the NTSC (American) English versions of the game but Sony have revealed that one of the reasons for the delay was making the games compatible with PAL 60hz. all 3 games are also compatible with the PS Vita. no specific prices were announced but the blog say the games would be similar to current PS1 Classics.

Sega And Three Rings Announce Spellwood Is Out Now For Android And iOS For £1.49/ €1.79/ $1.99

Sega and Three Rings have announced Spellwood is out now. this game is out across iPhone/iPad and Android for £1.49/ €1.79/ $1.99. the game has a single player game which pits you against 90 enemies whilst you explore the towers of Spellwood. each of these towers provides a new challenge with different spells to use. the idea is to spell words to cast magic in battles. you can use Facebook Connect for multiplayer action where you can battle up to 50 of your friends.

Milestone And PQube Announce The Safari Rally DLC For WRC 3 Is Out Now On PS3 And Xbox 360

PQube And Milestone have announced new DLC for WRC 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 is out now. this DLC is the The Safari Rally, which ran from 1953 until 2003, and includes stages in Kenya. the tracks included are rocky, dirty surfaces which require good Handbrake skills. they can be played in both single player and multiplayer events.
