Sony Announce Playstation Plus Comes To The PS Vita In November
Sony have announced Playstation Plus is coming to the Playstation Vita in November. existing PS3 Playstation Plus subscribers will get it on their PS Vita's for no extra charge. the serivce offered will be the same as what is currently offered on the PS3, this includes:
- Games
Members will be able to
play the full versions of designated content for PS Vit available on
PlayStation Store as long as membership is effective, at no extra
cost. The lineup of games that will be offered and other details
will be announced at a later date.
- Discounts
Members will have
access to exclusive discounts on designated content for PS Vita.
- Online Game Save
Members will
automatically or manually be able to upload game save data files for
compatible games to Online Game Save Storage with 1GB of space on the
PlayStation Network (that is 1GB for Vita and 1GB for PS3, which means users have 2GB in total)
- Automatic content downloads and updates
PS Vita will
automatically download designated game demos and game updates, and
also download system software updates (but not install them). PS Vita will automatically
start up to download content and will enter standby mode after the
download has completed.
- Automatic Trophy sync
PS Vita will
automatically start up at a designated time to sync Trophy
information with PlayStation Network servers.

Sony Have Revealed The New PS3 Slim, 12GB SSD, 250GB HDD Or 500GB HDD Versions Out From 25th September
Sony have revealed the new PS3 Slim. this new model features a new deisgn and form factor which means it is more than half as heavy and big as the original PS3 and 25% as big when compared to the current PS3 Slim.
there are 4 different hardware versions of this new PS3. Japan and the USA will get 250GB and 500GB versions. in Japan both versions come out on 4th October for ¥24,900 And ¥29,800 respectively. the USA gets the 250GB version first on 25th September for $249 and the 500GB version comes out on 30th October for $299. The EU and UK get a 12GB SSD version and the 500GB HDD version. the 500GB version comes out first on 28th September for €299 and the 12GB SSD version comes out on 12th October.

Sony have confirmed to me that current HDD's in the original PS3 and PS3 Slim can be placed in all these new models apart from the 12GB SSD version. a special standalone HDD will be released for the SSD model, it will be 250 GB, come with an attachment and cost €89.99.

Rovio Announce Bad Piggies Comes To Mobile And Mac On 27th September
Rovio have revealed Bad Piggies, a Spin-off from Angry Birds, and announced the game is set to come out on 27th September on iOS, Android and Mac. this game lets you play as the Angry Birds Piggies, you have to create vehicles for them to get to the end of level using the building blocks provided. the trailer shows that there are obstacles which mean some vehicles need fly. the way the building works means there are many different ways to complete a level. Rovio have also announced PC and Windows Phone 8 versions will be coming later.
