Atlus have announced they are bringing Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita to the USA this Fall. Persona 4 Golden is exclusive to the PS Vita. This PS Vita version will feature more voice acting, and a new online dungeon rescue feature where users can call on other players for assistance in the TV world. other new content includes new Personas to collect, new story events, an all new character, and Atlus have revealed there will be new Anime cutscenes which include a new opening animation. the game will feature fan suggested tweaks and changes and more.
this week an ill Yahtzee tackles 2 XBLA games, Fez and I Am Alive. whilst he maybe under the weather, don't worry about him suddenly becoming delirious as he tackles both games with normal vigour. so will he fall for the Indie darling that is Fez and will he agree with the poor I Am Alive reviews...watch and find out!
Sony have announced Frobisher Says! is out now on the PS Vita PSN. this game is free and weighs in at 421 MB. there is also day 1 DLC for this game, the Frobisher’s Super Fun Pack costs £1.59. in the main game there are over 50 mini-games to play through, each making use of the PS Vita features.
Giant Sparrow have released a new trailer for their upcoming PS3 game The Unfinished Swan. not much had been heard about the game for several years, but on the Blog post the team reveal they set up a new studio and have been working with Sony on the game. the trailer appears to show some in-game action and some screenshots near the end. Giant Sparrow finish their blog post by detailing their aims with the game:
" So we made a game about creating a sense of wonder. Our goal is to give players strange and beautiful experiences they’ve never had before. We want to give people genuine surprises, and then keep on surprising them the whole game. The painting a white world stuff is actually just the
first 15 minutes. After that, things get really weird."
Activision and Treyarch have announced the next Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. this game is set to come out on 13th November. no information about the game has been released. however, they have released this debut trailer which reveals story, some locations, and in-game action like horse back riding.
Atlus have released a new video for Persona 4 Arena. this video is a tutorial for the games basic controls. it uses in-game action and button prompts to show basic fighting skills. some tips are offered and the trailer explains some of the terms.
Codemasters have released a new trailer and detailed the demo for Dirt Showdown. this demo starts with a 8 Ball race. once this race is completed you unlock the Rampage multiplayer mode where 8 drivers face off in a demolition derby event. Players will be offered the chance to sign up to RaceNet, this allows players to track races, rivals, and rewards. progress will be carried over into the full game as well as an exclusive RaceNet livery and $20k currency.
