Apple Announce The iPad 3, Out 16th March In Black And White From $399/£399

Apple have introduced the new iPad 3. Its powered by a A5X Chip with Quad Core Graphics, it has a 5 Mega pixel iSight rear Camera, that can take 1080p HD video. The camera is also back lit which means it can take great photo's, even in low light conditions. The iPad 3 screen is a Retina Display that has a resolution of 2048 x 1536, which is 1 Million Pixels more than a 1080p TV. Colours on the iPad 3 screen are also 44% better than the iPad 2. the iPad 3 will be available in Wifi and Wifi+4G versions. Apple say the battery life is still around 10 hours. The Pricing is:

Apple have also announced the iPad 2 will stay on sale but at a cheaper price of $399/£329 for the 16GB Wifi model or $529/£429 for the Wifi and 3G 16 GB Model.
Apple have also introduced the new iPhoto App. like many of the standard apps, it has been updated to support Retina Graphics. it has also been updated to support multi touch gestures and you have the ability to enhance and retouch your images.


A new feature, unique to the iPad 3, is the dictation function. when you are typing you can tap the microphone icon on the keyboard and dictate to the iPad 3. when you are done, what you said then appears on the screen. the Dictation can be used to write messages, take notes, search the web and more. Third Party apps like Facebook and Instagram also work with the Dictation Function.

PopCap Announce Solitaire Blitz Is Out Now On Facebook

PopCap have announced Solitaire Blitz is out now on Facebook. Solitaire Blitz had was debuted back in February through a gradual Beta Launch, but now its available for everyone on Facebook. In Solitaire Blitz, users have just 60 seconds to try and clear a deck, collect treasures, and earn in-game money called Silver. the Silver can then be used to purchase power-ups. you can also compete against friends using leaderboards.

Konami Announce The Silent Hill HD Collection Comes To PS3 And Xbox 360 On 29th March

Konami have announced the Silent Hill HD Collection is set to come out on PS3 and Xbox 360 on 29th March, Out 30th March across the EU. this collection features Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. both games have been remastered in HD, have new re-recorded soundtracks, re-recorded dialogue from the original voice artists. this version of Silent Hill 2 also features the exclusive stages from the original Directors Cut version of the game.

EA and Danger Close, an EA Studio, have announced Medal of Honor Warfighter for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. coming 23rd October, Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator "Preacher". whilst having issues at home, an deadly explosive known as PETN penetrates civilian borders and Preacher and his Tier 1 teammates are sent in to solve the problem.

EA have also announced if you pre-order the PC version through Origin, you will unlock the U.S. Navy SEAL Tier 1 Sniper on day one of launch. This multiplayer unlock saves an estimated 40-hours of time that would normally be required to unlock the unit.

EA And Maxis Announce SimCity For PC's, Coming 2013

EA And Maxis have announced a new SimCity game is coming to PC's in 2013. Sim City will feature the city simulation the series is famous for whilst also having a robust multiplayer mode and being more accessible.
