Square Enix have announced they are bringing Drakengard 3 to the west. Drakengard 3 is a prequel to the original Drakengard game and it will come out in 2014 digitally on the PS3 PSN. the game is set in a medieval world where the peace and harmony has been disrupted and your out to solve why.

Square Enix have released new trailers and information about Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy. firstly, they released a full length version of the Tokyo Game Show Trailer. they have also revealed 2 new costumes for Lightning. the first to be revealed was Yuna's costume, from Final Fantasy X, and then they announced Aerith's costume, from Final Fantasy VII, was in the game. both victory songs from the original games are also present with those costumes. Square Enix have also revealed the opening cinematic, showing a meeting and fight sequence between Snow and Lightning.

Square Enix announced Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call at this years Tokyo Game Show. currently only announced for the Japanese Market, i expect a Western release though, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call includes music, and some characters, from all 14 main Final Fantasy Games as well as several spin offs including Type-0, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. in all there will be over 200 songs and 60 playable characters. also new for this game will be a 2 player competitive mode.

Square Enix have announced the PS4 beta for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will start on 22nd February. this date has been confirmed for Japan and the USA So far but i expect it to be true for the EU. Square Enix have also announced that PS3 gamers who have Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn can bring their character to the PS4 version of the game at no extra cost (you still have to pay the monthly fee).
