Rovio And Lucasfilmn Announce Angry Birds Star Wars, Coming Out Worldwide On 8th November


Rovio And Lucasfilm announce a collaboration between Angry Birds and Star Wars with Angry Birds Star Wars. this collaboration extends beyond just a game and includes merchandise, which hit stores from 28th October. Angry Birds Star Wars is set to come to iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone and Windows 8 on 8th November.

Rovio Announce Bad Piggies Comes To Mobile And Mac On 27th September

Rovio have revealed Bad Piggies, a Spin-off from Angry Birds, and announced the game is set to come out on 27th September on iOS, Android and Mac. this game lets you play as the Angry Birds Piggies, you have to create vehicles for them to get to the end of level using the building blocks provided. the trailer shows that there are obstacles which mean some vehicles need fly. the way the building works means there are many different ways to complete a level. Rovio have also announced PC and Windows Phone 8 versions will be coming later.

Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy Dimensions Comes To iOS And Android On 31st August, Prologue Is Free

Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy Dimensions is set to come out on Both Android and iOS on 31st August. the prologue is free for everyone. then you can buy the first chapter for $2.99 / £1.99 / €2.39, chapters 2-4 for $9.99 / £6.99 / €7.99 each, or the entire collection of chapters for $28.99 / £19.99 / €22.99.

Final Fantasy Dimensions was originally released in Japan around 2 years ago and it has a similar look to Final Fantasy IV: The After Years with a job system similar to Final Fantasy V.

Ouya Kickstarter Has Less Than 6 Hours Left, Ouya Supports 4 Controllers, XBMC And PLEX, Namco Bandai Looking To Support It


Well the Kickstarter for Ouya has less than 6 hours left and the Ouya team have been making several announcements for the console. they have confirmed the console can support up to 4 controllers. they have also announced PLEX and XBMC, which are media players. Ouya is getting internet radio from TuneIn, which is a free service. Namco Bandai have announced they are working with the Ouya team with the hope of bringing some of their franchises like Ridge Racer, Tekken, Pac-Man and Galaga to Ouya.

OUYA Have Revealed A Special Edition Console For Last Week On Kickstarter, Confirm Controller Buttons And Announce VEVO

OUYA is in it's last week on Kickstarter now. to celebrate this, and the support the devs have had, they are offering a special edition OUYA console. the colour was personally chosen by Yves Behar and will only be available during this last week of Kickstarter. this Special Edition OUYA costs $140 (with additional money for posting overseas). At time of writing, the Kickstarter has received 47,297 backers who have pledged $6,137,034 of which 1752 have signed up for this special edition console.

OUYA have also revealed the symbols in the controller buttons. before they were just coloured, but after concerns from the colour blind community, OUYA have confirmed the buttons will spell O U Y A.

The last bit of news is the announcement that VEVO will be bringing music to OUYA. the VEVO service will be coming at OUYA's launch.

Microsoft have announced the My Xbox LIVE App is out now for Android users. they have also detailed the recent update to the App. you can now control content on your Xbox 360 console, for example you can play, pause, fast forward and rewind videos using the app.

Ubisoft Announce Babel Rising Comes ToThe PSN And XBLA On 13th June, 14th June To Mobiles, And 27th June To PC

Ubisoft have revealed the release dates for Babel Rising. it comes out first on the PSN and XBLA on 13th June. these console versions support Kinect on Xbox 360 and Playstation Move on the PS3. Babel Rising 3D comes to the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android on 14th June. a downloadable PC version is set to come out on 27th June. a Windows Phone 7 version is planned but no release date has been announced.

In Babel Rising players are God and you have to stop humans from building the Tower of Babel. you use your divine powers against the Babylonians. the two videos are for the Console versions. they have the same in-game action but show the different Kinect/ Playstation Move Controls.
