Tribute Games Reveal Mercenary Kings, A 4 Player Co-op Run And Gun Shooter For PlayStation 4

Tribute Games have revealed Mercenary Kings. this upcoming PS4 title is a up to 4 player co-op run and gun shooter with a crafting element. defeating enemies and completing objectives rewards the players with loot. this loot can then be used to craft and customise your guns. each gun is split into 5 different parts, and they have over 300 different parts in the game already that you can use to create your own weapon. Mercenary Kings also features local split screen co-op, each screen only shows what that player is doing enabling players to split up and search a level.

Red Barrels Have Revealed Outlast, A PS4 Survival Horror Game Coming 2014

Red Barrels have revealed their debut game, Outlast. coming next year to PlayStation 4, Outlast is a survival horror game that they want to scare you. in Outlast, you play as a journalist who has no weapons or fighting ability, your powerless and vulnerable. this makes running and hiding your main option to survive. this also means that enemies will come looking for you. Outlast is set in an asylum and your enemies are escaped mental patients, Red Barrels are making sure the setting and enemies are real and authentic. they tease that Outlast has a character that you maynot be able to stop, that will keep coming at you.

17 BIT have revealed their next game is Galak-Z. this is a 16 Bit space shooter that is set to come out on PlayStation 4. the game brings this type of game back to it's arcade roots and away from the bullet hell shooters it's become recently. this game uses modern game mechanics like cover to help avoid detection, bringing a degree of planning to the game. the artstyle of the game, highlighted by it's logo, is classic 70's/80's sci-fi animes like Starblazers/Yamato, Robotyech, Macross and Gundam. Galak-Z uses the power of the PS4 for physics, as most items will have some, as well as mass, weight, timing and more. they are also using the power for a massive particle system.
